First time at stacks, I had heard a lot about it and it delivered. I liked being able to go up to the counter and ask questions and order exactly what I wanted. I had the grits which were great flavor, but not that hot the group I was with all enjoyed their breakfastand lunch, including a Caesar salad, a turkey sandwich and the salmon omelette. I will definitely be back next time I’m in the area. People are also friendly and the restrooms were very clean and love the wallpaper. lol.

Cute inside , food was fresh and tasty. Young kids working there were nice and had great music playing and sports on TV . Paying $2 addon for 2 tiny slices of avocado in my omelette and for the boy to hand me a number and say tl”table 31 over there is yours, go there when you’re ready to order”, and not walk us to the table gave it 4 stars for me. Girls walking around offering water refills and if you need help was friendly touch. Honey on the table also was great for us an uncommon touch.

We wanted to leave. We got there right at 6:30am, when they open. The girl seemed to be bothered that we walked in. If you are going to be a gameday staple in Auburn, you better make sure the fans feel welcome when they walk in. The girl had on an Auburn shirt too….sad. I had seen the food online so we really wanted to try the cinnamon roll pancakes. We decided to stay. The girl explain to us how to order. We got the cinnamon roll pancakes, the chicken biscuit with honey butter and a sausage and biscuit. The pancakes and the chicken biscuit were amazing. The sausage gravy was different, it wasn’t bad, just different. I LOVED the bathroom wallpaper. There was a lady that kept coming by the table to refill our drinks, come to find out she was a BAMA fan….boo, but she was great. She treated us better than the first girl that grabbed us at the door. We will come back again, but everyone should be greeted happily at the door. It wasn’t an inviting mood to start.

Pros: Food was pretty good. I enjoyed their hashbrown tots, and the bowl was good even though the girl taking my order said I couldn’t sub the bacon for sausage. The cinnamon roll pancake stack was a hit. Cons: The space is cramped so I’m glad we went during Christmas break. I can’t imagine going on a game day weekend. Would be better if it was full service since the tables are so close together it’s hard to get through. On top of that, it’s overpriced of course, so we’d much rather go to WH or if we want some fantastic brunch we’ll make the drive to Columbus to get 10x better food AND service at First Watch for a fraction of the $ we paid.

Did reservations for 1:30p assuming they stop serving at 2p (not the case) definitely needs to close reservations at 1p… WITH THAT BEING SAID THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS AND STAFF WERE SWEET.

Had the strawberry shortcake pancakes with chicken and OMG YESSSSS.

Table also had the basic stak & chicken with honey butter (10s across the board)

We arrived early one morning, and there was no line. The staff was extremely friendly, and the food was hot and fresh. We ordered an egg omelette, a sausage and gravy biscuit, and Bagel Bites.

Staks Kitchen is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is charming and cozy perfect for a relaxing breakfast. We were lucky to have Dominique as our server, and she was fantastic. Friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful, she guided us through the menu and helped us choose some amazing dishes.

We ordered the honey vanilla and cinnamon lattes both were rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. For food, we tried the pork skillet and the shrimp omelette, and everything was absolutely delicious. Each bite was packed with flavor, and the portions were generous without being overwhelming.

Honestly, we wouldn’t change a thing. The service, food, and ambiance were all spot on. Staks Kitchen was completely worth the stop, and we’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in town!

The peanut butter protein pancakes are quite possibly the worst things I’ve ever ordered at a restaurant in my life. Came in absolutely starving the day after a football game, and could not force myself to eat these. And look, I get low-calorie high-protein pancakes will never live up to the real thing. I’ve cooked my fair share of protein pancakes and not once have they tasted even remotely this bad. I’m legitimately unsure if anyone in the restaurant tasted these before putting them on the menu. They are just that bad. Calling these pancakes is a stretch. One would think that a pancake restaurant would have a good selection of pancakes. One would be wrong.

We chose Staks for breakfast and drinks before an early game instead of tailgating. Long line but handled quickly. Good and interesting menu selection but very rigid. They will only cook food one way, which means hash browns couldn’t be made crispy and in my view were well under cooked with minimal browning if any. In contrast, bacon came out over cooked and brittle and not the as some on the table. Sent back and they cooked it perfectly. Their biscuits and gravy were good but not the “white” savory sausage gravy I was expecting from the menu but yellowish and fairly strong tasting with lots of butter or possibly cheese. The consistency seemed as if it had been made the day before and settle/separated. Still good. Once we hit 8:30, good Bloody Mary’s and mimosas.
