I had Fat the Texas or something like that. It honestly tastes so amazing.

I highly recommend this spot for food if you’re visiting Los Angeles. It looks great and feels great. It’s close to a great shopping center.

There are plenty of locations so if you’re a tourist make sure to plan and check out the tourist guide list I’ve created.

When I went I ordered the “Hot Fat Chick”, it was not spicy at all. The chicken itself was low quality thin flaps of friend chicken and were not sauced to the same quality you would expect anywhere else you order Nashville chicken. The fusion of flavors in this sandwich were a very disappointing combo, however I will say that the jalapeno slaw was good. The staff was friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is really cool and inviting.

It sure is nice having a late night spot to hang out with friends. I just wish the place had food that I could stomach. I grabbed what I assumed was the signature sandwich. The Fat Sal’s. I was looking forward to a meaty deli sandwich, since this place was called a “deli”. The sandwich had little meat. But it was full of fat in the form of deep-fried cheese sticks, deep fried onion rings, and French fries. Yes, in the sandwich . Ugh. Unfortunately, I was far from thrilled with my selection and was feeling the dire need for meat after giving up trying to eat the sandwich. If you thrive on deep-fried food, this may be the perfect sandwich for you!

Every time I go to Fat Sal’s, Donald is always so kind and welcoming! He goes out of his way to make sure everyone’s having a great experience, and you can tell he genuinely cares about the customers.

It’s rare to see that level of consistency, he’s friendly, professional, and always has a great attitude. Donald really makes Fat Sal’s feel like more than just a restaurant; it’s a place you actually look forward to visiting.

Huge shoutout to Donald for always being awesome!

I went there to order food for the first time the guy in the front had an attitude problem. I asked him what he would recommend he had no idea. I showed him the picture on the wall to order he had no idea what it was. He goes look at the menu. I feel like the guy was restarted so I walked out and went to Big Mamas instead.

Philly Stake is $18 and small. Across the street is big mama & papa pizzeria. Has better Stake sandwich for $10. It also tastes much better

This is food for when you want to feel and eat like trash….Just go to the Great White Hut at the end of the block; it’ll satisfy the craving well and not hurt your wallet. Fat Sal’s is overpriced and quite frankly, bland. I spent $27 on a burger, fries and drink.

I’ve not eaten one bad tasting item yet. Staff is friendly and atmosphere is great! If you’re worried about there being “junk” food, this place is called “Fat” Sal’s. If you want to eat healthier go somewhere else or order a turkey club or a salad. They sell that here too.

The best burgers in town! Delicious and filling sandwiches, great atmosphere, and super, super friendly staff. Every time I want a burger or a sandwich, this is the first place I go. Highly recommended!

A definite vibe. Loud music, bright walls, and a dizzying menu of sandwiches, burgers, salads, & wraps. Sides, add-on, & shakes too. Ingredients seem fresh and the food was just fine. It just didn’t *hit*, ya know? I’d been to the old Hollywood location many years ago but don’t recall what I had. Today I tried the Bahn Mi-ki. Not really close to a true bahn-mi but I knew that from the description. Spice was good but not much flavor. Loved biting into the generous portion of slaw but the onion rings didn’t add flavor, just crunch. Fun Freestyle soda dispensers though…
