Stopped here on the road, would recommend. Helped quickly and lots of options. The person working was very nice. I can only speak to the donuts but we enjoyed. Cappuccinos are from a machine but pretty good all the same. Prices were decent too. The bathroom was clean and not locked, gender neutral. The whole place is wheelchair accessible, it looks like, which is great. Doesn’t seem like too many options for those with dietary restrictions is the only drawback.

The girl on the night shift is very rude and the frappe was sour with ruined milk is a shame as they are one of the few 24 hour places in Salinas. This was 03/18/2023 🙁

I have been there a few times in the past few weeks and may I say it was Bad and I mean BAD!!! The employees are very Lazy especially the ones working the Night Shifts. They claim their toaster doesn’t work. The donuts are Good, but not great. Sometimes it is clean, and sometimes it is dirty. For example I walk in and there are crumbs and coffee stain on the table. What surprised me the most when I stopped by around 10:00 PM and the Employee was very rude, I waited for 10 minutes just for 1 donut and a Mocha Cappuccino and while I waited she chatting/Laughing with another Customer for a long time and when I got my Donut and Cappuccino turns out she Gave me The French Vanilla flavor instead of Mocha. Oh well Guess I’ll have to find a new donut shop.

If a doughnut isn’t fresh or close to it, it really sucks. Our doughnuts definitively were not fresh; tasted ancient, actually. The various frostings fell off just by handling the desserts. Though prices have gone up nearly everywhere, these doughnuts were really overpriced considering the lack of quality and taste. The attending employee, though, was nice.

My experience at Winchell’s was splendid!! Their donuts are always freshly baked and really good. Best donut shop in Salinas, CA. Sometimes there is only one worker on shift but workers are always nice to their customers.

Very friendly nice young ladies working the counter doughnut selection doesn’t seem to be up to standard with Winchell’s doughnut variety and quality, however overall not terrible donuts. I have been to this particular shop many times on different occasions I would also like to add that if I were the owner or manager I wouldn’t leave a young lady working alone on graveyard shifts maybe the manger/owner should work that shift
