This is the best Nepali food for at least 100 miles. Service was excellent and the restaurant was both clean and pleasant. I went with my wife and our son for lunch. The service was excellent and they even had a high chair for our son. we had the chicken momo steamed and fried and the chicken tiki masala everything was fantastic I can’t express how happy I was when I took my first bite of the steamed momo, I felt transported back to Nepal. 10/10 will recommend to everyone with ears to hear it.

Staff is super friendly and the food quality is great. Some other Indian restaurants tend to make food oily, while Kasthamandap Kitchen does it perfectly on spot, keeping it flavourful without making it oily.
Definitely try Lasooni Gobhi here, a very flavourful appetizer. Also their Naan is fluffy and among the best I’ve tried. I didn’t get to try a lot as I am vegetarian, however whatever I have tried was always on spot.

Today was my first visit, I went just after lunch time was seated right away. Very nice warm set up, have a bar and plenty seating.
I ordered the Kundapur chicken curry along with Masala chai hot drink and Butter Naan bread.
The food was delicious and more than enough to fill the stomach.
Definitely will return and bring family and tell my friends.

First time trying this place, I ordered to go. Very good!! Only Indian food I eat a lot in Charlotte was from Copper for such a long time. But this is my new go to, and dare I say better. I got the highest spice level and it definitely was medium but it was still very good!! I will definitely be back. 10/10

Kashtamandap Kitchen is fantastic! We tried the steamed Chicken Momo and Vegetable Chow Mein which were both absolutely delicious and bursting with flavor. This wonderful food was matched by service delivered with a smile. Highly recommended!

Food was amazing. I never had it before but my wife did. I had shrimp vindaloo and she had shrimp byrianni rice and I had also the Chicken fried rice. The Naan Bread is a must have with whatever you get. We garlic Naan. We will be back for more.

We ordered the chicken momo, and it was excellent—flavorful and exactly what we were hoping for. Unfortunately, the chicken choila was very disappointing; it resembled boiled chicken with a light sprinkling of spices, lacking the authentic taste and texture. We even ended up air-frying it ourselves to make it somewhat enjoyable, which felt unreasonable for a $15 dish. The chicken chowmein was also below expectations, with the chicken being rubbery and difficult to chew.

Absolutely brilliant place. Love the staff and the food. Everything was delicious. The Gulab Jamun is absolutely out of this world. The tandoori chicken is top notch. We loved everything we had. Biriyani chicken and the garlic naan as well as thr roti were very delicious. Our first time here but we will be back next time we visit Charlotte.
