Lacking the funds to travel to Italy? Good news, you can travel to Plymouth, MI and dine in a truly authentic trattoria as good as any in Roma. The pizzas are certified to be genuinely Italian right down to the D.O.P. san marzano tomatoes. From the friendly hostess, to the well trained staff, this restaurant moves with a vibe that screams date-night. The atmosphere creates a relaxing feeling to unwind after work or a hectic day. The food has such a great depth of flavor. The goat cheese rustico and the Insalata pizza are superb. This place is a gem and not to be missed.

Pizza e Vino is a really cool pizza place. The food was really solid and the overall vibe and atmosphere is nice! It can be slightly pricey, but, it’s not awful. Overall, I think it’s a pretty unique place to get some good food!

This is place is always busy because the pizza’s are great. Very authentic pizza. We get pizza’s from here at least once a month. They don’t like customization much which is the only downside. There is a no dairy free cheese, which is fine, but would be great if they did offer it. The sauce and dough is all you need to enjoy the pizza.

We had a DELICIOUS meal of two huge salads and three incredible pizzas for 4 people. The Mista with pine nuts and Salerno were delicious (and 2 for 4 was almost too much!), and we got the capricciola (crowd favorite), the tartufo and the pulcinella, all incredible. We finished with a cannoli and pistachio ice cream.

We visited this pizzeria on a weekday, pretty busy with atleast 20mins wait time. The artichoke dip is a must try! Cocktails are average. We liked both pizzas- Margherita and Bianca; very light and tastes good. Nothing amazing but simple fresh ingredients. Service is average and slow.
I wouldn’t order drinks the next time I’m here.

I had dinner here years ago, so when we moved back to Michigan, I was excited to share this place with my partner! The food was just as good as I remembered! Everything is super fresh and delicious. The pizza is made in their special wood-burning oven and has a thin crust that’s perfect for folding. The crust really lets the ingredients shine and doesn’t make you feel like you’ve eaten a brick of bread. You can add more unusual ingredients like pancetta, goat cheese, and pine nuts to your salads and pizzas. Our appetizer was Spiedini, which is fresh mozzarella wrapped in prosciutto. So good! We had the Mista salad and added goat cheese, and the Pozzuoli pizza without mushrooms or onions, with goat cheese and pancetta. It was a fantastic dinner! My partner wants to make going here a weekly event! 10/10 recommend.

Absolutely loved Pizza e Vino, it is very authentic and delicious. We had a 45 minute wait time but it was so worth it. What is really cool is that once one puts their name on the waiting list, one can check the time in their website. The staff was very kind and professional. We ordered the bruschetta pomodoro and it was so good, the only thing is that it has ALOT of garlic, if you love garlic, it’s perfect! My daughter doesn’t like garlic as much so she started picking at it, but it was hard to do. The pizzas were all delicious, we ordered pizza with tomato base and pizza Bianca (no tomato base). We all tried each other’s pizzas and they were all equally delicious. We were only in Plymouth for the night, but if we ever go back, we will definitely have dinner at Pizza e Vino.

I like this place but unfortunately the pizza seems to be consistently undercooked now. The top / outer crust is fine but the bottom / middle is terrible even after asking for extra cook time. Same experience the last several times we’ve gone.

Tried out Pizza e Vino in downtown Plymouth for the first time. Warm and comfortable atmosphere. Huge pizza oven in the middle of the restaurant , alongside a smaller but intimate cocktail bar. Menu was limited, but serves authentic Italian Pizza. Had a pizza that contained sausage, thin cut salami, bell peppers, and fresh mozzarella serviced with a spicy olive oil. Overall a great experience and a real delight of a restaurant. Will definitely be going back when I crave pizza next which will probably be sooner rather than later. Visit this excellent pizzeria and tell them I sent you.

Best pizza around here. My favorite is the basic margarita Neapolitan style. Delicious crust, it’s all about the crust.
Tiramisu is delicious too, would do without the sugar cacao sprinkle.
