Love this diner! We just happened to find it driving around Darlington, and could not have been happier. Cute place that’s decorated perfectly, even have a beautiful jukebox that I didn’t get a picture of. Service was amazing and food was great! Will definitely be back to Takis! Thank you!

Nostalgic style restaurant that has some decor payhomage to the 50s. The food is quite food and does not taste frozen or premadr. Their menu has a variety of entrees such that even the pickiest eaters could find something to please the palette. You also have the option to try an item on the lunch, which could ve a,meat +2,3 or4 side itemsthe staff are friendly. Our waitress made sure that our cups were full and our dishes were moved out of the way, even though the restaurant was packed.

This little restaurant is quite unique. The atmosphere is unique. A theme from the 50s and 60s consists of a lot of Elvis memorabilia along with a statue of Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, and James Dean, I believe. I had my buddy take my picture with Elvis and Marilyn Monroe. The food was also fantastic. We were there for a race weekend and he had the Elvis burger and I had the buffalo chicken wrap with fries. I would highly recommend their honey mustard sauce for dipping fries. The waitresses were nice and fun and personable with great personalities and attitudes. Overall, it was a great dining experience for lunch.

This is one of our regular go to places. Just a nice little small town place with good food and terrific people. The blue plate specials are often our go to. This last time my wife had fried chicken with coleslaw and mac & cheese and I had meatloaf with Mashed potatoes and gravy. Everything was terrific as always!

This food was extremely good and delicious. Taylor did a really great job helping us and answering questions. Got the buffet, and it was solid. They had fried chicken, meat loaf, some of the best chicken and dumplings, mashed potatoes, rice, and gravy. They had a full salad bar. Tea was included with the buffet. Oh, and they had lot more food too. Cool design with 50s style. Very good!
Shannon was also very helpful and friendly, and did an excellent job. You must try those chicken and dumplings though, the bbq, the dressing, and save room for salad.. even try the pickles with that because it is good. Oh yeah. . Almost forgot they have delicious fat back too..
Went back twice in December and both times the staff was very helpful and friendly. The food choices are always great and lots of selections. Very cool atmosphere and always quick service.

Great breakfast food, menu choices, and prices!!! The omelets are delicious so is the grilled salmon. The pancakes are huge. They are the size of the plate!
