My husband and I have had a seasonal campsite in the area for quite some time. We come up north most weekends and enjoy a local fish on Fridays. This past Friday we decided to check out this place after seeing recommendations online about the food.
We arrived around 4:25, got a seat at the bar, and were immediately welcomed, asked for our drink order, and given menus. The server came back with our drinks and took order. A mere 6-7 minutes later, we were served our dinners! Plentiful size servings and delicious. Everyone working there was friendly and hustling to get drinks and food orders out. We’ll definitely be back!

Looks like someone’s house but is a really cool diner. Great food. Try the Silver Fox….. a fish paddy and cheeseburger on a toasted bun. Outstanding!

The fried food was plausible, but the pizza was great. Thin crust and ordered extra crispy. Odd thing was the reserved tables. We arrived before 6pm, ate until 7pm, and they close at 8pm. No one ever was seated. Seems a very foolish business practice.

1st timer. Came w/my parents who have enjoyed the place before.
Drinks were great , and burgers / fries were just right!
However, as a 1st timer, I’ve gotta say that there seemed to be some tension in the air among the owners. She wasn’t very cordial and he barely spoke 2 words to us.
Ma raves about the place. Perhaps they were just having an off day…

The atmosphere was welcoming. The cheeseburger I got was so good that I said food like this needs to be called an addictive substance… And the fries were good as well. I’ll make sure to stop by when I’m back in town again.

Called ahead and made a large fish fry order for 10 people on Friday at 5:30 and they had it ready at 7. Just as they said it would be. We came early had great service and great old fashioned’s. Thanks for a fun atmosphere and true northern hospitality. Food was on point. CHEERS!!

Phenomenal!! Service was absolutely top notch. Our lunch was amazing; the Silver Fox is a must. The crew at this location is very attentive & went above & beyond for our table of 5. We’ll stop back again when we are in the area.

Never ever been to a Wisconsin bar, let alone one in NE WI that had RESERVED SEATS at the bar. We left, no seating. Actually had Reserved cards at the bar seating. Never going back, no need to. I wonder if the standing room was reserved too? Tables I get, but the bar stools???

Was just introduced to this place. I ordered the spicy chicken wrap, my wife got the ultra-thin crust pizza. My wrap was excellent, with just enough kick and the spicy ranch was awesome. I took a bite of the pizza, the crust is crispy excellence. Jason, who I believe owns the place, is like a well oiled machine on the grill. The place was very busy and I don’t even think he broke a sweat. I can’t wait to get the clubs out and stop back here for lunch to try something new. Keep up the good service, highly recommended.
