Absolutely love this restaurant. The food was fabulous as always. The lamb gyro was outstanding. The chicken souvlaki with lemon potatoes was bright and flavorful. We had to take baklava for dessert to go. Highly recommend!!!!

TZATZIKI 10/10!
Can’t go wrong w/ a traditional gyro or gyro platter (order w/ the lemon potatoes)!
Oh my God, the food was absolutely delicious here!!!! There was a young man who helped my husband and I out and he was so kind and genuine and made our experience here incredibly wholesome
We love Greek food, and we love spotting out the best spots and this for sure is one of them!
Please go show this restaurant some love b/c their vibes are great and the food is amazing.
*Plus, they actually play Greek music, have the best Greek pictures, and have an overall comfy and welcoming decor

A place we stop at every time we ride to huntington. Moussaka was divine. Lemon chicken soup hit the spot right before the meal. Pita with tons of tzatziki sauce (unique flavor delicious).
Rice was fluffy and tasty, greek salad was balanced and satisfying. Their lemon potato side was just the ticket, sharable and scrumptious.
We will be back.

Gyros (pronounced yee-rohs) should not have ANY lettuce on them, just added sliced tomato and sliced white sweet onion period. Skorpio’s ruined their gyros. Must be a new owner than the early 1990’s had. Also the tzatziki (yogurt) sauce no longer tastes good. The garlic flavor is gone. Not sure if they use the best gyro kone meat of the beef & lamb called Hellene made by KRONOS in Chicago. I doubt it since it looks different. I do know their gyros lost that exquisite taste. I make them myself at home now using Kronos sliced meat with homemade yogurt sauce from a recipe given to me that is spectacular and just like Skorpio’s from the 1990’s. Skorpio’s used to be second place to MISS DONUT on New York Ave. in Huntington who also made gyro’s from Kronos supplies. They were the BEST gyro I ever had in my life. Miss Donut is long gone. I only eat Kronos meats. Gyro Central meat is mediocre.

Skorpio’s brings Greece to you right here on Long Island. Opa!!! The food here is both plentiful and delicious. The artfully painted walls depict the beauty of the islands in the Aegean and Ionian Seas. Tonight we started with Saganaki. The cheeses were tasteful, and cherry tomatoes roasted delivered an addictive sweetness. For dinner, I enjoyed their Gyro sandwich. It was so big; half went home. My husband opted for the dinner special of Sauteed Soft Shell Crabs in a Francaise sauce. He remarked the crabs were a good size and prepared perfectly. Lemonina, our server, was attentive, pleasant, and provided excellent service as was Nicole, who displayed masterful talent in public-relations. So when a desire to visit the Mediterranean arises and you can not make it to the airport, drive to Skorpio’s in Huntington. Then head north and enjoy the views of the Long Island Sound. While you can’t make a good comparison between the two, you can do takeout here and enjoy the sunset. Opa!

Occupying the old Skorpios space on New York Ave, this small diner has a giant menu featuring the expected lunch and dinner specialties.
Servings are generous and the food is tasty. Having just opened, the crowds haven’t arrived yet so it’s a good time to try this cute place.
Menu has a cash and credit price which i find annoying
