I am forced to give it 1 strar because 0 stars is not an option. A group of 4 of us sat down after a very short wait for an open table. Again after a short wait time the server came to take our drink order. Soon after came to take our food order.several of the choices we had made were not available. This is where it all went bad. We waited over 40 minutes for food. When we asked the the waitress about our food, she said she would check. That was the last we spoke to her. We left without any food and spending over one and a half hours in the place. It was some what busy, but not that bad.
It’s an hour and a half of our lives we will never get back. It’s too bad because after 10 hours of riding trails we were ready for some good food. Would not recommend or ever go back.

There is no sign in front of the building so it’s a little hard to find. The hours listed on Google were wrong. Good amount of food for the price. Cornbread is fantastic. Meat was a little dry but flavorful. Friendly staff. You can also check in to white water raft in the restaurant.

We stopped here for a quick bite. This restaurant and pub is focused on the river rafting crowd with much of the atmosphere referring to that activity – digital photos of the days events on the river, etc. There is a nice game room next door. There is a full bar and plenty of seating. It was very busy so service was overall fairly slow. The food was pub grub for the most part, and was very good. I went with the steak tips, which were overall excellent. The wife went with a pizza which was superb. Price was reasonable and overall would recommend this place – check the site for specials.

It was a nice place grab a beer and some food. It’s in the North Country Rafting property. We had a rib and a house salad. Both were really good. And the staff was friendly too. They are the only place that open till little bit late. Since it’s a small town you won’t be able to find much after 7.30 – 8.

The food is really tasty and prepared pretty quickly.
The night we were there they had live music which was fun, but very, very loud. Wish it had been a little quieter or at least that we had sat farther from the live band.
I ordered their loaded tots special of the night and it was delicious and a huge portion!

Staff was excellent! For was good. I got the ribs and my son got thr loaded nachos. Nachos enough to feed 3! Little on the pricey side for what it was but very convenient when staying at North Country Rivers. We will return on out next stay!

Great place to go away from skowhegan. Bar is good size, and they had great entertainment the night that I went. It’s too bright in there for a bar at night though. If they dim the lights after a certain hour I think it would be a lot better. I know people are eating, I understand that. But definitely too bright for a bar. I will definitely go again though. Kind of wish they were open later than just 9:00 p.m. but it is the winter months.

As a local I go here quite a bit. Yhe drinks are ALWAYS great. Gretchen is my fav. The food is usually good, but if something is off they take care of it with smiles. Even on busy or stressful nights the staff are always good to you and do their best to make your meal/drinks and night out fun. Closes at 9pm which is a bit early, but it’s a great family spot. They have a small game room in the back. So if you want a night out and don’t have a babysitter. Rent a cabin or if it’s summer camp. Have some dinner/ drinks and have a nice short walk to your cabin. It’s a cute little getaway

We had dinner here tonight and I could not be more pleased. The vibe is just comfortable; you walk in, seat yourself and I don’t know it just felt comfortable; no one rushing us to hurry up and decide or get up from their table.
The server did a great job; he was the only one working and you wouldn’t know it; we felt well taken care of.
My husband and I split the wings; BBQ and garlic flavored and they were really yummy. Mama and Linda had the nachos and the chicken strips, and they both seemed to enjoy their food.
I’d most certainly come back!
