We visit 2 locations fairly frequently. This is the burgaw location. My food is always well prepared and the servers are always super friendly. Sometimes there is an issue being understaffed so there is sometimes speed issues. But o recall fantastic.

I couldn’t recommend this place based on sanitation rating as well as attitude of staff.
I walked in at 11:05am and saw the cook repeatedly looking at me and shaking his head and sulking around. He obviously doesn’t want to be at work or doesn’t want any customers. Very poor professional attitude

The food was decent but the service has never really hit on much. Last time I came in I could never get a refill because the waitress had her friends in there and was so busy giving them free food and not paying attention to her customers. Today I go in there and eat and my waitress never came back to the table to give me a refill and I did want some ice cream after I ate and would have gotten some if she would have come back so instead I had to go to the front and get someone else to refill my tea I know the owners are good people but they may need to spend more Time training their employees on customer service because ever since they bought the one in Castlehayne it’s been ran into the ground

Staff was inexperienced with no apparent supervision. Bill was reduced 50%, which was appreciated, but it really just put it on the same level as the experience. Used to be a great place to eat but it will take a while before we return.

This place is nasty, we arrived at 11:45 am the mirrors on the wall next to the table look as if they have not been cleaned in months food and sticky smeared all over the bathrooms were dirty trash hasn’t been dumped and when I went to pay there was so much grime and dust at the register yet all the employees were standing around leaning on the counter on their elbows and laughing it up. I feel as if I need to Lysol myself after leaving there.

This was a nice little stop, the people were all very pleasant, our server was the most polite person I think I’ve met in a long time and the food was very good with a fair portion and reasonable price. Be sure to take the time to try a custom milk shake from this place, the meal made it 4 star but the people put it over the top.

Have been here many times and the food was great. I think management must have changed. At this point the food and staff lack a lot to be desired. Not just my opinion. Alot of the other customers have been saying the same. I won’t be back. 3 strikes and you’re out in my game.

We’ve been to many of these locations. Never disappointed at HWY 55. I tend to look for the lighter menu items unless I’m simply starving which directed me to the shrimp po boy. They aim to please here. At this particular location we arrived after doing some picking at local flea markets and antique stores. Or visiting children and grandchildren along for the adventure. Our crowd of @18 was taken care of impeccably and everyone left very satisfied. The custard is delicious and the grandchildren choose their own toppings. Not a bite was left uneaten. Give it a try if you’re in the area. Burgaw is a great place to go for a relaxing pick and a bite to eat.

I love their cheesesteaks and milkshakes they’re not overpriced and they taste decent however I always have an issue with the cheese fries to go they’re just too greasy and the cheese is always all over the place and if you ask for the cheese to be in a cup they give a tiny cup that in no way will cover even half the fries. Ill give more stars if this issue is fixed.
