We wlast night. We have been a half dozen times and its always delicious. Last night was a very poor experience. Arrived at 8:40, sat and ordered within 5 minutes. Before we were 5 minutes into recieving our food, they start putting up chairs and cleaning. But they kept going so far as to clean every inch of the restaurant and all chairs in our section even were up. All while no one said a word regarding closing time. We checked before arriving and it said 10pm…( Makes sense , its Friday night)
So i get up mid meal and irritated to pay and still the manager says nothing about the not so subtle hints to get out. He just says ‘everything good tonight?’ i chuckled, said I guess so and got a box for my kids food which wasn’t even close to being down. My wife asked our server if they are closed and he said yes. We then said, online shows 10pm on google and the website. He said, ‘thats wrong’.
Simple communication would have great, but instead it was like all eyes wanting us to get the hell out. Maybe next time when we walk around n, state that you close at 9… And also disclose your entire staff expects to leave the restaurant at 9:15. It was a terrible experience andleft us feeling like we now need to find a new mexican restaurant to go to monthly. This one could have easily veen avoided, but they chose a very poor approach.
Definately order take out from here, again, great food, but the service and lack of communication takes this off our list for the foreseeable future, and its a shame…

Great chips and salsa. Service was good, the waiter took our order within a few minutes of being seated and our food came out within 20 minutes. Everything was served hot and delicious! We will definitely be back to try additional menu items.

Amazing food 10/10 would come again. Food came out very quick. Place was nice, clean, and not loud. Our server was nice and refilled our drinks fast. Prices are kinda high but with the amount of food you get with it, it makes up for it. Overall great experience and loved the food.

I wish I could rate the food….. I ordered a flour tortilla with grilled chicken and fajita vegetables in it in the server told me they couldn’t do that and that it would be really expensive! I told him that’s fine. I’d pay for it but then he stands here and looks at me like he couldn’t do it and when I told him never mind I just won’t get anything he said are you sure? You will love the cheese enchiladas with Mole sauce! Great hidden gem in NKY. I loved it. $7 grande margaritas were fabulous. Can’t say enough good things! Yum and yummy.

My friend and I go to a lot of Mexican places around Cincy. We tried out Mi Tierra this afternoon. Our waiter had very bad breath, which isn’t necessarily his fault and I hate to bring it up but it made talking to him difficult, especially since he barely knew any English.
The salsa tasted kinda paste-like. The chips were decent. The tortilla shell of my taco salad was good and fresh. The rest was mediocre. My friend ate her taco. The horchata was watered down. The waiter ARGUED when we wanted the chorizo dip taken off the bill. Pictured below, it is very clear that the oil was not drained before being put into the cheese and it tasted so bad I wouldn’t let my friend try it. The waiter said “but you ORDERED it!” and we said “Yeah, but LOOK at it.” he continued to argue with the checkout guy too.
We will not be returning. I would recommend going to Tres Amigos, Mi Cozumel or literally anywhere else before coming here, at least during lunch.

Food was very good. I had the 12 oz ribeye, the steak a la Tampeqania and they nailed it. It was delicious and Cooked perfectly. The enchiladas are really good as well. A lot of authenticity. The only reason I’m giving it five stars is because the flour tortillas were store bought, not made in-house. And the staff was very kind, but not very attentive. Nonetheless I highly recommend this place, you won’t be disappointed
