Fantastic staff, the owners are always happy to greet you, they have one of the most energetic atmospheres I’ve ever been too. They have top tier food, plates you think you would pay 50+ for. There’s lots of events and they have music & karaoke… this place is the hot spot in St Cloud.

We and my girlfriend stopped here for lunch and it was our first time eating here. Since the weather was nice, we decided to sit at the outdoor patio. We were greeting by a friendly waiter who was happy to give us some suggestions on their popular dishes. I decided to get a pickled loon burger and my girlfriend got the Rueben. We got the dill pickle cheese curds as an appetizer.
The food came quick and looked great. The cheese curds were hand battered and were very light tasting. Not drenched in grease and were very good. My burger was pretty good but I think next time I’ll get something a little more different than just a bacon cheeseburger. The gfs Ruben was delicious! I was lucky enough that she shared a few bites with me and it was phenomenal! Prices were great as well. About the same if not a little cheaper than fast food but tastes wayyyyy better!

This place is a fun hang out. A very cool atmosphere inside and nice and relaxing and a good place to people watch outside. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the area! I can’t wait to go back and try some others!

Friendly and helpful staff. Just wish our drinks stayed filled up more often. Food was pretty good. Philly steak was pretty good. The appetizer cheese curds were really good. The mashed potatoes were a bit on the weird side and served a bit on the cold side. Otherwise the rest of the group liked their food. They do have some good gluten-free options which our group appreciated.

Exceptional service! The staff really goes out of their way to take care of you — something you don’t see that often anymore. You can tell they genuinely care. And the food? Absolutely amazing. The peanut butter burger is next-level — seriously one of the best I’ve had. Definitely a spot to remember!

Hit and miss on some things.
The staff are very nice and friendly and the food is actually very good when you get what you want.
I have ordered from these guys two times and the first time everything was right and I was very happy with our food. I have pictures here of the Philly cheese steak with no onions and the Cali Burger. My fiance also ordered the Pickled loon with no pickles but was basically handed a plain burger as they forgot the bacon and some other dressings. My Cali Burger, was fantastic. The mixture of the cheese, sauce, and generous avocado slices made it worth ordering. I made time to order it one more time before leaving town.

Personally, I don’t like how there is no online ordering. I’m very awkward and don’t like having to call a place to place an order. That being said, everyone who I’ve spoken with has been very polite and understanding of my awkwardness.
The estimates for food pickup are not very accurate. I ended up having to wait an additional 25 to 30 minutes for our to go burgers.
I was honestly so very excited that I could have a Philly without the onions. I know it’s practically sacrilege, but I just don’t like them.
If you are in St Cloud, and tired of chain restaurants, give the Pickled Loon a try.

my boyfriend and i went together, my boyfriend was pushed by another customer, my boyfriend walked over and reported this to security….who kicked him out. we have been at the loon 30 min….my boyfriend hadn’t even had his first drink and was unreasonably pushed. anyways i told security i was his girlfriend and it must be a misunderstanding. i was immediately kicked out of the establishment, without any other reason other than i was at the loon with him. even though I had not caused any altercation to be reasonably kicked out. just because i said i was associated with him. i think this is very unprofessional and unreasonable for the situation at hand. i believe this place is typically a great place, but new security is causing extra issue that is not necessary. If my boyfriend didn’t report misconduct, we wouldn’t be kicked out. hope this is fixed.

Pickled Loon is a cool spot for late night snack and meeting with some friends. For us it was the only spot open on a Tuesday night. The vibe was nice and chill. Our server was the bartender. You ever notice that the bartender is always a better server than an actual server. We had the nachos, fried pickles, and fried avocado tacos. The food was ok slightly bland on the nachos. It was missing a few seasonings to make it pop. The best dish was the fried pickles.
