I was really impressed with the food selection and ended up visiting twice. On my first visit, I tried the burger with onion rings—the burger was decent, and the onion rings were great. I also had the peach drink during this visit, but it wasn’t very flavorful, so I wouldn’t order it again.
On my second visit, I had the cauliflower bowl with added protein, which ended up being my favorite dish. I also ordered the banana bread latte; while it was decent, it didn’t stand out as I was expecting to taste some banana flavour. I would also say that the pricing overall is on the higher side.
The young woman at the front was wonderful—kind, welcoming, and provided excellent service. The staff overall were attentive and regularly checked in to see how I was doing, including two of the male staff members. it was cozy, quiet, and had interesting decorations, which made for a pleasant experience.
The only challenges I encountered were that some items I wanted to try were unavailable, which was disappointing. I was also very disappointed with the blondie (white brownie). It was extremely stale and hard—even after microwaving it—and nearly impossible to bite into! It was definitely not made fresh.

Grateful for this fully vegan cafe! We really liked the S.A. Spicy Macaroni Salad and Banana Bread (which reminded us of french toast) but we could’ve done without the Howzit Boet Wrap. For the wrap (and most of the food I think), it was not made-to-order. They took it from the prepared food section and heated it up for us as we requested.

For my first visit I tried the Sausage Roll. Easy to find in the Ally building. I walked in and was helped immediately.
Side sample of a corn salad was delicious as I waited for my order. But I didn’t have to wait long, my pastry was handed to my promptly.
I stayed to look at some of there assortment of snack items and grab and go sandwiches. I’ll be back to try more.
The sausage roll pastry was fresh, flaky and savory. Comes with a side of sweet acidic chutney. Compliments the item well.
Nice,cozy environment that is suitable for a small meet up with 1 or 2 people. Coffee shop vibes.

Sometimes I get the craving for a big bowl of roasted veggies, and I usually get my fix from Oh My Soul in Noda. However, the craving hit on a Monday this time and OMS wasn’t open. To my luck, I found their sister restaurant OMS On the Moo’ve in downtown was open for delivery! I had the Mama Africa Bowl and now I am happy and full 🙂

I really loved my experience at oh my soul on the move. The atmosphere was amazing and felt like I was transported to another world. The food and drinks available were amazing and gave me an amazing African culinary experience. The staff on site were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
