Amazing food. They start you off with fresh delicious humus with pita. Then We had the seafood bisque, it was thick and full of seafood. The muscles,was yummy good. Finally we ordered the warm lobster roll that came with steak fries and coleslaw. Everything was absolutely delicious and fresh. We came in for the Monday and Tuesday specials. See picture for details.

Amazing new spot in the heart of Farmingdale offering fresh seafood. One of the very few restaurants serving whole fish. The atmosphere and seating is very warm and aesthetically pleasing. The service was exceptional and they were very attentive and checked up throughout the course of our meal. Would definitely recommended the fried calamari, Greek salad, lobster mac n cheese, and branzino. Will be back to try more items on the menu !

My family and I came for lunch and had an incredible experience. The food is all delicious and the service was great. Most of us ordered seafood and we all loved our meals. I had the hot lobster roll and it was delicious! The ambiance is also so cute. Highly recommend! We will definitely be back.

Food was amazing! I came here for dinner with my boyfriend the other night and I’m still thinking about it. I got the tuna tartare and the beet salad, my boyfriend got the red snapper. Both were amazing and the hummus and pita they serve while you’re waiting is a great touch!

A must-go! Our experience at Captain Ihab was an 11/10! Most importantly, the food was high quality and cooked very deliciously, in a healthy style. The portions were well-sized too. The prices were very good, especially for this large amount of high-quality food and our amazing experience.
They started us off with some very good homemade hummus and fresh pita bread. We then ordered a Greek Salad to share before our entrees and it was super fresh (something that is hard to find nowadays!). We were also impressed with the freshness of their fishes! We ordered a whole grilled Branzino and some grilled Wild Salmon with well-cooked rice, risotto, and veggies on the side. I can tell that they source their fish well because they were not too fatty and tasted truly wild-caught (I can tell the difference)! The herbs and spices were intelligently used by a skilled chef – it was so delicious; we wiped our plates clean. Thank you for your honest, good food-sourcing.
The atmosphere was inviting and upscale, well decorated, cool lighing – a great date spot by the way – as the place is small and you can actually hear your conversations, the perfect level of volume. Our waitress was very kind and showed us warm hospitality, ensuring everything was perfect. We will definitely be coming back again to try the rest of the menu!!

My family went here Thursday night. Such a lovely experience and everything we had was delicious! The homemade hummus and pita were delicious, clam chowder was excellent, lobster roll was so flavorful and delicious making me wish it was bigger but all excellent and so fresh. The mussels were excellent too. We will def be back, the vibe was so relaxing and friendly. It’s nice you can see the chefs cooking too.

Such a great little find! Beautiful decor, beautiful food. Homemade hummus, wild orange salmon-soo good. Lobster stuffed and cooked to perfection. Sweetest little cup of sweet potato mashed. If you don’t mind not drinking alcohol-by the way you won’t miss a drink the food is enough. Try it! We will be back

Cozy little restaurant caught my eye as we walked down Main Street Saturday night and the beautiful hushed atmosphere and lighting drew us in. Was greeted by one of the owners, Darius, who seated us right away. No liquor license yet so her husband offered to run to the liquor store on main and brought us back a bottle of our choice. Menu had a variety of Mediterranean choices both meat and seafood as well as great starters. We had an outstanding meal starting with raw oysters served with fresh made cocktail sauce, New England clam chowder filled with fresh clams, perfectly seared ahi tuna and crispy yet juicy grilled branzino. Accompanying side vegetables were delishishly fresh and well seasoned. Our hosts Daria and Ihab were gracious and attentive. An all around beautiful experience. Will have to make Captain Ihab’s one of our regular stops
