Atmosphere was surprisingly really nice. I enjoyed the simple minamalistic vibe. The only thing that I found lacking about the atmosphere is the fact that they have their mops and brooms out in the open for everyone to see. Food wise we got the baba burger and curly fries as well as a chocolate shake. Baba burger was really big but because of the amount of toppings on it it kept falling apart easily. Bacon was pretty good however the beef patty itself was tasteless. Definitely a burger that needs toppings to taste good. Also it was super oily. I had it on a napkin and it soaked clear through on to the table and my hands were drenched in oil. As for the curly fries the portion they give is nice however they tasted pretty bad. I could get better curly fries from Arby’s. Ketchup kind of helped. Milkshake was decent. I felt like it tasted a little too much like ice and not as thick and creamy as a milkshake is supposed to be but that was probably the best food item we got from here. Customer service was absolute garbage. The guy at the front who had a ponytail was not necessarily nice but not rude either which is not something you want for customer service. We asked multiple times for recommendations and he would not give us any saying he didn’t have a “tally” or “numbers” so that was really off putting. He also didn’t seem super knowledgeable of the menu and said he mostly stuck to chicken. All in all I would definitely not come back here but maybe if they could improve some stuff they might get a second chance. I’m all for supporting halal and Muslim owned businesses but I’m sorry I felt sick after eating here. I want to literally throw up. BEWARE THEY CHARGE YOU A CREDIT CARD SURCHARGE OF 3%. Absolutely bogus.

We arrived about 12:00 on a Sunday. The place was pretty quiet, which we expected since it is tucked away in a predominantly business mixed use area off of Campbell in Richardson. The place was clean! The menu is electronic on the screens behind the cashier, but they scrolled by too quickly for me to digest it all. Derrick (the tall guy with glasses and beard) quickly realized my struggle and handed me a paper menu! I love a good paper menu (must be my age). I ordered the hamburger, my husband ordered the Godzilla … it was HUGE. We shared the cheese fries. The bun was soft but not gummy. The hamburger was well seasoned and very flavorful. The lettuce Onion Tomato and pickle were crisp. Husband says the BBQ sauce was tangy and the bacon was the perfect complement with the onion ring. Overall, a five star ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ experience. We will be back!

One of the best burger spots I’ve tried in a long time! Fresh ingredients, juicy patties, and flavors that actually stand out. Service was quick and friendly. Definitely coming back!

I have been to this restaurant once and only
ordered the Curly Fries and added cheese. The order was to go. When I arrived home 5 minutes after pickup, the fries were delicious; still tasty and crispy, without being soggy or cold. Thank goodness they were not oily!!! There was just the right amount of cheese and not even that made them soggy or greasy.

However, I saw Sarina’s review about the food, atmosphere, etc. When I got to the financial part at the end , I was shocked. I, too, payed with a credit card, but was in a hurry and didn’t even look at it. That is, if the itemized receipt was given or offered to me. I can’t recall that part BUT I know that I wasn’t aware that the business was/is passing the 3% service free off to the customer. They don’t disclose or mention it to customers-sneaky. That act of passing THEIR fee to us is VERY illegal and it struck a cord within me bc SO many businesses are doing this now, I have noticed. I understand that they are a new business and want to be profitable, but they’ll never get there while cutting corners & being shady. The 3% on each credit card transaction does add up BUT is the payout worth your reputation, and possibly being reported?
I will give The Burger Den another try in a couple of months and use a credit card ro pay. Hopefully the food will still be as good as the 1st time and they will have rectified their financial mistake. Everyone deserves a chance.

Burgers were good. Buns were the best part. Toppings were good. Meat was just okay. Fries were great. Bathroom was filthy.

I ordered the grilled burger chicken, but the meat was not cooked properly. The chicken was chewy and tasted bad. I called the restaurant, but they told me they couldn’t help me. They didn’t offer to replace the sandwich. It was a horrible place to eat, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

I recently went here for the first time. Both, food and customer service, were good.

What I didn’t like is the additional charges (hence low rating) of 3% in the name of “Service Charge” and then another 3% in the name of “Credit Card Surcharge.” This was a pickup order. Why “Service Charge” then? Again, these charges are in additional to the menu prices. What’s next, an “Entry Charge,” or a “Sit down Charge”, how about talking to the “Cashier Charge”? What is going on and wrong with these businesses? This is really getting ridiculous and out of control! What is so frustrating and disappointing for me is that there were no signs or any verbal communications about these additional charges prior to or after payment! How is this even legal when you don’t advertise these charges, don’t tell customers about these charges, and then just charge without customer’s permission and then just hand over the receipt as if nothing has happened! Unfortunately, not many customers check their receipt and some don’t even ask for the receipt let aside checking for the correct transaction amount. These businesses taking full advantage of those type of customers and just cashing in.

How hard is it for the business to be honest, transparent and clearly advertise with a sign if there will be any type of additional charge on top of the menu price? If putting a signage is a problem then how about training cashier and have them tell the customer if they will be responsible for any additional charges. Had I knew about the additional credit card charges then I would have paid with cash! When I asked for the hot sauce, I was told all sauces will be extra charge. If they are pretty good for charging extra for a little sauce then why hiding the real total price?

In my opinion, there should NOT be any additional charges, beside the applicable taxes, and all “hidden” charges should be added in the menu price or just clearly advertised it. It is expensive for EVERYONE and not just for businesses. It is really not fair for these businesses to rip off customers with their hidden sneaky tactics like this! If they can’t afford to take credit cards transaction then just don’t take it.

I am thinking to file a complaint against this business with applicable enforcement office(s) regarding these unauthorized charges. Businesses like these do make extra money in short amount of time, but they don’t realize how quickly others have failed and closed down.

I wanted to try something different during my lunch hour. I saw this spot and gave it a try. I was the only person in the spot for an hour. Ordered the Double Cheeseburger with Curly fries. They provide soft drinks in a can. The burger was juicy and flavorful. The overall experience was quiet and enjoyable. There is one large TV if you are interested in watching sports.

We went to The Burger Life in Richardson as a group of six with family, and it was such a great experience. The place has a minimal yet stylish ambiance—nothing flashy, just clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The service was excellent, even with a larger group—they were friendly, attentive, and quick.

Now the food… absolutely top-notch! The Baba Burger for beef lovers was juicy and packed with flavor. The Zyros is a must-try if you’re into chicken—perfectly seasoned and super satisfying. And of course, you can never go wrong with their Classic Double Cheeseburger—a solid favorite that hits the spot every time. Every single person in our group left happy and full. This place is a hidden gem. Highly recommend!
