This pace deserves more than 5 stars. This is one of the most amazing dining experiences that I have had in at least a decade.
The crusted salmon on mashed potatoes with roasted veggies was beyond compare. The minestrone soup was amazing. The pasta alfredo with chicken was good…very good!
The desert:
-Pistachio Ricotta cake…wow
-Creme Brulee amazing
-Orange sorbet was like a mouthful of orange that melted away on contact…wow
Service: this is perhaps the best part. Amazing service, the owner is so sweet and kind. The atmosphere is perfect for families.

This cute and cozy little restaurant is a gem. The food was delicious from start to finish. Our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable. The owner came out to chat with us at the end of dinner, it was a pleasure getting to know him and his story. Will definitely be going back.

This was our second visit here, our first during Christmas. The food is excellent! Service is friendly and very professional. This is a great restaurant and serves top tier food. You pay for what you get and it hasn’t disappointed.
We brought my mum from Europe who has visited Italy multiple times and absolutely adored the food here. The decorations for Christmas were also really nice and festive Italian music.
We will be back again!

What a great experience! Three of us came for dinner and it was great from start to finish. The service was so friendly, funny, attentive but not overbearing, and overall excellent. We had the stuffed clams (special) and calamari appetizers. Both were delicious. I had the tomahawk pork chop special and I can honestly say it was probably the best pork chop I’ve ever had. My dining partners had the short rib ravioli special and the bolognese, both of whom seemed to enjoy their meals equally.
The owner came out after the meal to chat and he was genuinely appreciative and charismatic. Overall, I loved our evening and look forward to coming back soon!

We went here last night and were absolutely blown away! From the moment we walked in, the service was wonderful — everyone was so warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You could tell they really care about their guests.
The food was outstanding — every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Honestly, I didn’t have the highest expectations since it’s located in a strip mall, but this place completely exceeded them. It was truly amazing from start to finish.
We will definitely be back again and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

Everyone here was amazing, super friendly and kind. The food was amazing, we got so much food and none of it was bad. The deserts were also really yummy. The place is very clean and nice, very Italian. They have nice Italian music playing and the owner turned the lights down to make it more romantic, very chill. Amazing place, I would drive here all the way from Brooklyn(1 hour).

We recently celebrated my birthday at Mama Fanti. Everything was spectacular! We started with 3 appetizers to share; the Bruschetta Massimo was incredible! We were amazed at the generous dinner portions. One of my all time favorites, Chicken Milanese, was absolutely delicious. We arrived during a horrific thunderstorm and the staff was warm and welcoming. Service is spot on; our waiter put a candle in the dessert for me! I highly recommend Mama Fanti’s Italian Kitchen!

A new restaurant in our bedroom community of Hillsborough, NJ, Mama Fanti is a place you don’t want to miss. We went around 6:00 on a Friday night and were seated even though we didn’t have a reservation. We found the food VERY flavorful! I really liked the sauces which must have some “secret” ingredients because they tasted better than what I have grown used to. We had a stuffed zucchini appetizer, three mains, a salad and a dessert for around $150.
The salad was plenty for sharing. The eggplant Parmesan was interesting. I’m used to very thinly sliced eggplant with lots of breading, but Mama Fanti’s was thickly sliced, nicely breaded with a delicious sauce. The veal cutlet topped with arugula was great, but the chicken dish (see below) was out of this world. I’ll get that next time I go. We finished with an incredibly light tiramisu (one serving for all three of us).

Came in with a friend to share a lovely meal and we were not disappointed! The owner greeted us as we walked in and the atmosphere feels like you are in Italy sitting down in a family cafe/restaurant. My girlfriend had the Mama Fanti salad and I had the Arugula Salad with chicken, it was delicious. The service was excellent and the decor was beautiful. The light Italian music playing in the background added to the total experience. The place is pristine and the decor is lovely(the bathroom too!). There is the main room as you walk in and another room for private events that seats approx 20 maybe 30 people . We both decided we would use Mama Fanti for events we need to have catered coming up soon.
