We have decided to try all the PoBoy Express restaurants. We placed the order over the phone. The employee was nice and polite. He even asked if we wanted combos. Jeanette( at the window) was so nice and polite. I ordered a hot sausage poboy. I thought i was ordering the patty but it was links( they cut it 4 little quarters) it was ok. My daughter ordered a chicken philly ( barely any meat at all) . The french fries were DELICIOUS, the seasoning on those fries was sooo good. Over all a 3… trying another location next week

Tonight, I ordered the fried shrimp po’boy combo, and as usual, it did not disappoint. I customized mine with extra mayo and no tomatoes—exactly how I like it. The shrimp were crispy, tender, and perfectly seasoned with just the right kick. The fresh French bread deserves a mention too; it’s top-notch and likely sourced from a New Orleans bakery.
The combo includes fries and a drink. While the sweet tea wasn’t quite up to par, I wasn’t too concerned since the food made up for it. The fries were hot and crisp when I got them, though they naturally cooled a bit on the ride home (that’s to be expected with fries). Next time, I might enjoy them on-site to savor them at their peak.
What impressed me most tonight was the efficiency of the drive-thru. When I first passed by, the line was wrapped around the building, and I almost didn’t stop. However, after running a quick errand, I came back to find the line completely cleared in about 10 minutes. That kind of turnaround is remarkable!
The service was excellent as always, and the staff was friendly and efficient. It even looked like the owner was working the drive-thru, which adds a personal touch to the experience.
Po’Boy Express continues to stand out for its dedication to consistency. Unlike some places where quality can vary from one location to the next, this chain delivers the same high standard every time. Just ordered a salad for the first time at Po Boy Express. I’ve eaten their sandwiches many times and been very satisfied prior to this experience; however, today I wanted to try one of the several salads on their menu because I’m trying to eat more health-consciously. Apparently, their idea of a “salad” is to put a whole bunch of shredded iceberg lettuce (like one would normally use on a po-boy) in a huge Styrofoam container and throw a couple of cut up tomatoes on top of there. They dare to call this a “salad”! Both myself and my husband ordered one each. He got grilled shrimp, and I got fried shrimp as toppings for these “salads,” packaged separately as to not wilt the “greens.” To make matters worse, my fried shrimp greatly outnumbered the measly number of grilled shrimp my husband received as toppings.. When we called to complain, we were simply told that this is how they make their salads… For $7.99 each, I’m just warning the next person not to be fooled. Po Boy Express does not offer any sort of edible or authentic salad. Stick to the sandwiches or be incredibly disappointed like we are.

We had catering trays of chicken tenders and french fries for a student event, and they were fantastic! The students all raved about how good they were and went back for seconds. Needless to say, there were no leftovers. The team at Po Boy Express was accommodating and friendly when I picked up our food, making everything that much easier. Highly recommend Po Boy Express!
