I recently visited this Popeyes location and had an extremely disappointing experience. I ordered cheese bites and Cajun fries, and when I received my order, the portions were noticeably smaller than what is normally served. I let the fries slide, but the cheese bites were clearly under-portioned — I received only about three or four pieces, with some of them broken into small fragments. I looked up the standard portion size, and what I received was definitely not correct.
When I brought the issue to the employees’ attention, they told me to wait. They then went to the back and had a long conversation with the manager in Spanish. Since I couldn’t understand what they were saying, it made the situation feel very uncomfortable and unprofessional — especially because it seemed as if they were discussing my complaint without including me or addressing my concern directly.
After that, the manager came out and asked me to explain the situation again. When I did, she acted like she didn’t understand what I was referring to and kept giving me the runaround. Even after I repeated everything clearly, she insisted that the portion I received was “how it comes,” which I know is not true.
The lack of communication, professionalism, and willingness to correct a simple mistake was extremely frustrating.
To make matters worse, after eating the food, I began experiencing sharp stomach pains, nausea, and diarrhea. This raised serious concerns about the quality and handling of the food served at this location.
I’m leaving this review in hopes that management takes these issues seriously: proper portioning, respectful customer service, and safe food handling. Customers deserve to receive what they pay for and to be treated with respect when raising a concern.

Dear Popeyes Customer Service,
I am writing to express my concern and disappointment regarding the ongoing issues at your store. As a delivery driver, I strive to do my job professionally and efficiently, but the behavior and practices at this location are making that extremely difficult.
The staff consistently treat delivery drivers with disrespect, speaking to us in a rude and dismissive manner as if we are not valued. We are simply trying to do our jobs, yet we are often made to wait long periods of time for orders that are never ready on schedule. This causes delays for customers, affects our earnings, and creates unnecessary frustration.
Additionally, the cleanliness of the store is unacceptable. The environment is messy and poorly maintained, which not only reflects badly on the brand but also raises concerns about the handling of food.
I am asking that management look into these issues and address them promptly. Delivery drivers play a major role in supporting your business and deserve to be treated with basic respect and professionalism. Improving communication, cleanliness, and timeliness would make a significant difference for both drivers and customers.
In addition, the staff repeatedly tell drivers and customers that orders are delayed because they “don’t have chicken ready.” Considering that chicken is the primary product Popeyes sells, this explanation is concerning and reflects poor preparation and management. It does not make sense for a restaurant whose main item is chicken to consistently be unprepared, causing long wait times and frustration for both customers and delivery drivers.

Not the best location demographically or socio-economic-racially. But an excellent Ghost Pepper Chicken sandwich was served in under 10 minutes. Very strong third-world vibes here; you will feel like you are in Central America, which is not necessarily a bad thing. But it might be better and easier to place your order in Spanish (if you can).

This place only gets 2 stars for at times, passable food. You get zero stars for making my daughter wait near 15 minutes to pick up an order that was ready! The woman told her she’d have to wait a minute, that minutes took several minutes till she inquired again to the latina female that works there in the evenings. One guy passed by and he said no hablo English. Mind you she says place had a lot of people waiting to order. 3rd guy passed by, she inquiries again – can she have her order? He grabs it right by the 1st lady’s hip!???? She’s a Nasty piece of work. We did report it to the chain’s representatives. When does someone who has paid for their order not take priority to those who haven’t paid? Never seen it before in my 40+ years . Mid food, the spicy isn’t spicing. No soulful flavor at all, and no paprika for It’s Louisiana color. Do better.

If I could give 1 star, I would. Terrible customer service and bad attitudes here. My husband accidentally sent his order to this location when he meant to order in Germantown around 3ish.When he contacted customer support, they informed him nothing could be done as far as a refund and he would need to pick the food up. I was worling and we couldn’t pick it up until I got off. Unfortunately, when we finally arrived at 6:30pm on November 8 2025, the manager had an attitude and was incredibly rude to my husband. The food was cold and we asked for it to be heated or for a refund. After explaining several times and displaying the back and forth to the manager, she told me ‘its on you” and to reorder in the app. I asked for her name and store number and she refused. I believe she said her name was Maria as she walked away from the counter while I was trying to speak to her. Do not spend your money at this location specifically, but I also think its time to stop giving these corporations our money if they can’t even provide goods for our hard earned money. My only regret is that I didn’t record the entire interaction.

ALWAYS CHECK YOUR BAG! I’ve come here weekly for the last 6 months solely because it’s close and easy. They have messed up my order 10 times out of 10. Whether it’s missing sauce, missing food, or just the wrong order, they have literally neveerrrrr gotten my order right. Even after they assure me something is in the bag, I get home and it’s not there. I try to ask instead of holding up the line to look myself, and it’s a choice I regret every week. They also make you damn near beg for sauce & honey.

This store refused to honor a pickup order that I placed through the Popeyes app. I had placed the order using a code from “T mobile Tuesdays,” and the store said it decided not to honor any orders from “T mobile Tuesdays.” It is shameful to allow customers to place orders using the app, charge them for the order, have customers trek to the store to pick up the order, and then refuse to fulfill the order. I have spent a lot of money at this location since it opened, including full priced orders, but will now take my business elsewhere.
So please beware: you might place an online order for this restaurant, be charged for it, and receive nothing.

I usually give good reviews and appreciate some of the staff here. But was disappointed by my recent experience. I currently have a speech impairment and placed an order. It was incorrect and the cashier forgot to give me my receipt. I returned in 30 degree weather to replace it to the correct order and hopefully warm food. Instead of empathy, I got frustration and the woman told me that I told her the wrong thing, she refused to give me a refund and next time she won’t take my coupon. Never had that happen before anywhere. She adjusted my cold order as in replaced some chicken, but after being yelled at I definitely won’t be back.

The chicken tastes like it was delivered the same day. Refried without the greasiness. The pickles are crispy the bacon is cooked well done no fatty bits cheese isn’t melted but it’s on the sandwich. Im not sure if every restaurant is supposed to use gloves
