True gaucho style empanadas with the crispy flakey dough! The cold brew is an ulta smooth chocolate bomb! I’ll be coming back often

Coffee is good. Service was lacking. Went at 9:30 in the morning. Wasn’t busy at all. I ordered the empanada and it took 20 minutes. We actually asked after about 15 minutes where it was and they said “it was still cold and would take another 4 mins”. Pretty sure that meant they forgot to put the order in. There were no apologies for the time delay.

I’ve been a regular at this spot for coming up on 2 years & they’ve only gotten better over time. The dedication to fresh ingredients & freshly cooked food is *chef’s kiss.*

My absolute favorite drink is the Coquito coffee. I haven’t been able to find anything like it anywhere else! Of course, the horchata coffee is great, too. I love the creativity that they come up with for their seasonal menus. I was especially a fan of the “Matcha Madness” menu in March.

In addition to all the yumminess, the customer service is phenomenal. I recently learned of an allergy that made some of my usuals dangerous for me to consume. However, the owner went out of her way & bought special ingredients to tweak some of the drinks so that I could still enjoy some of my favorites. As a small business, of course they run out of things SOMETIMES. However, they always suggest something else that’s just as yummy. Plus, that’s part of having fresh ingredients & good food…things go fast!

Y’all are awesome & I’m so glad that you all are apart of the community!

We ordered cocquito latte, 2 burritos, one al pastor taco, horchata, and empanada. Omg it was delicious. The taco tortilla is hand made, and the meat was juicy and soft! The burrito was delicious as well, a good size, we had leftovers. You can literally share one burrito. Coquito latte was delicious, and creamy horchata! I love a very well made horchata like this one. Empanadas are always good. The cook Juan was very proud of his master piece, very passionate about it. He encouraged us to go on the weekends to try the pozole he makes, and we will!!!

Giving this a 4 only because I came on a Sunday & they closed early then returned a few days later and no food was available. Apparently the owner got hurt Sunday and cooks everything? As a business owner though you’ve gotta create systems in place so the spot can run properly without you – unless of course you’re the chef at a restaurant named after you perhaps lol

I got a lot of work done before they closed and the staff both time were very friendly and apologetic about the above

I hope to come back when the owner is there cooking up a storm for her customers.

I always know that when they take awhile to make matcha that it’s not going to be very good. Not to mention nowhere inside did it state that they had matcha. The matcha was a good bright green color but when me and my brother (who has tried matcha many times from different places) got a headache and felt nauseous immediately after having it. There could be mold in their matcha I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Brewja is definitely a coffee place and not fit to serve matcha!

Brewja coffee and pastries is a hidden gem that I stumbled upon recently, and I must say, I was blown away by the quality of their offerings. The coffee was rich and flavorful, with a perfect balance of acidity and boldness. The pastries were baked to perfection, flaky on the outside and soft on the inside. The atmosphere at Brewja was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a delicious treat. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. I highly recommend Brewja for anyone in search of a fantastic coffee and pastry destination.

Located in a suburban area near Arroyo High, Brewja Coffee is a nice spot to post up at. They have a wide selection of coffee for you to try, and they even have holiday special drinks too. I’ve been wanting to come here for a while now, and I made the drive on a Saturday morning where it was semi busy. I even saw people with luggage here, so you know this is a good spot if people are stopping by here before or after a flight.

Their coquito coffee was great. I enjoyed it a lot. It had coconut shavings throughout to add that coconut flavor into it. Although I’m not a big coconut flavor fan, I have a soft spot for coquito and this is definitely on par with my exception for coconut. I would def order again. I would also want to try their smore drink next time too.

The Kuali Toast was just okay for me. I thought it could’ve been more spicy or salty, but it was definitely filling. The bread is thick and you get a lot of avocado.

Free parking here. Tried their peanut butter banana toast. It was delicious, but it took them 20 minutes to give me my toast. Coffee was good. Utensils were not stocked. I had to ask for a fork from the staff. The restroom was smelly and dirty. Staff were friendly and helpful.
