The wings were crisp and tender, it was disappointing that there were only 9. Let’s stick to 10 or 12 count. My chicken and egg sandwich was awesome and the drinks were delicious. Fast and friendly service.

F&A Grog House is a trendy American pub located on E 3rd St. in Bethlehem. It’s open Monday through Wednesday, 4 PM – 12 AM, Thursday and Friday, 12 PM – 1 AM, Saturday, 11 AM – 1 AM, and Sunday, 11 AM – 12 AM.
My friends and I stopped by Thursday night for some drinks and bites to share. We ordered a mix of appetizers, including the cheesesteak egg rolls, breaded mozzarella half moons, housemade G’s sauce wings, and the grilled cheese with fries.
Everything came out hot and fresh. The wings were the standout, great flavor with G’s sauce, which is like a peppery hot sauce. It’s not super spicy, but it does have a slight kick. The grilled cheese could’ve used more cheese, but overall, everything hit the spot. Fun place for a casual night out!

Grog House was the very first bar I stepped into when I moved to Bethlehem, and honestly, it set the bar high lol. The vibes are absolutely wild in the best way possible — this place has energy, warmth, and character. I was just there yesterday and had the yummiest cider and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.
There’s always something going on — trivia night had me laughing and lowkey trying to guess answers in the background. Even if you’re just watching, it’s a blast. One last thing to note, their grilled chicken burger is life-changing. So juicy, so flavorful — yummmmmmmmmmmm doesn’t even cover it.
If you’re new in town or just looking for a good time, Grog House is the move. No question!

Pissed I didn’t eat here. I came in for some drinks but the entire time you could smell the amazing food they were cooking behind the bar. As busy as they were, there was no wait and service was quick. The atmosphere was super upbeat with music playing and cooks screaming out orders. It was a cool experience. Would come back again.

Probably my 12th time coming in. I typically enjoy the atmosphere, service and food. I understand there are pub crawls and I was carded at the door. I was born in the 70’s. I ordered a double Johnnie Walker Black Label (when I go to restaurants that offer it, I order Blue Label). I was asked for a card (the first time that’s ever happened-no complaints there). I ordered another double Black Label. I was enjoying the comings and goings of the pub crawlers. I was considering a brisket sandwich and a side of brussel sprouts. I even spoke with the chef who I have spoken with before many times and ordered food every visit. Then a young gentleman came in, wasn’t carded and ordered a beer and a shot, wasn’t asked for a card. I politely asked Adriana if there was a reason that I was asked for a card when we had met a few times prior and that if she forgot, I was a 50% tipper with usually a bill between $50-$100. She said he was a regular. I politely asked for my bill to be closed. I bypassed ordering a few more drinks and food costing the restaurant a potential loss of at least $50-$60 more. I will now head to Orchid Steakhouse for some Blue Label and a bite to eat. Sour taste left in my mouth. This is the day and age of restaurant reviews and customer retention. Not sure if I will be back. I wish F&A Grog House success and that customers who come regularly will be treated well. I will add this respectfully. For you to stoop as low as you have done in response to a customer shows zero organizational effectiveness. I know her name. It is Adriana, a full time student at Lehigh studying psychology. I asked to be polite and not call her another name. I have never been Id’ed at the door and I respect that. I have never been asked to hold a card at the bar either. I have been coming there since 2022. I have met several awesome employees but never judged the way I was this day. I have met Drew, Josiah, Elizabeth, Harry, and I think it’s Sydney. You obviously don’t care about retaining customers as they are dispensable to you. You lost money and seem not to care. What business owner in their right mind wants to lose a customer? Oh, well. And for you to not apologize or show any concern about customer retention and to go back and forth demonstrates what a lousy restauranteur you are. Good riddance. Merry CHRISTmas!
