I stopped by an hour or so ago. 530 pm, Saturday Feb 1st.
I came in, grabbed a menu. Caught eye with the older lady and nodded. She went into the kitchen. I knew what I wanted. I sat there for 5 minutes looking the whole time trying to get the two ladies in the back attention. They completely ignored me. I called out HOLA???
Neither responded. I got up and left. I watched as I left, and neither even seem to be aware that I was there and leaving.
I am white dude with a big white beard. Did they not think I was worthy? Did I look homeless? My wife suggested that was the problem when I got back. She may be correct.
But, old white bearded dudes in Columbus are kinda common.
I have eaten here twice before and loved the food. But I will never stop back.

Supposed to be open at 430pm on a Friday (actually, their announced hours are til 7pm) but wasn’t. This REALLY creates a problem for tourists, and we saw someone else go up and tug on the door only to find that it was closed.
Having said that, we did get excellent, incredibly inexpensive breakfast burritos the next morning.

We step inside and met the owner. The place run by family and taste like home food.

Wow!! What chilaquiles! Home made salsas and sauces are muy sabroso. We were here for breakfast, but lunch looks great too. Best in Columbus for sure!
