Social Profile:

Kamisama became Bakersfield’s first ramen establishment, introducing authentic ramen to the city and quickly capturing the hearts of locals. As the city’s food scene evolved, so did Kamisama, adapting to the growing demand for variety while preserving the quality and warmth that originally set us apart. Now simply known as Kamisama, we’ve expanded our offerings to include a vibrant selection of noodle dishes, soup bowls, rice bowls, and grilled combos, embracing a broader Asian-inspired menu. Through our journey, we remain dedicated to providing Bakersfield with a unique dining experience, where tradition meets innovation, and every meal reflects the flavors that first made Kamisama a cherished part of the community.

The ramen was delicious, and the portion size was just right. It is definitely worth coming here to eat. The service was excellent and the gentleman who helped us was polite, attentive, and quick.

The ramen was delicious. Pork broth. Good size serving. I added an egg and spinach! The only problem I had were their California rolls. Very disappointed with their lack of experience. If I wanted extra rice in my California rolls I would have asked. I’ll be looking for another place to eat

The ramen had no flavor whatsoever, we asked for a sauce or a chili based oil we got a siracha instead , the beef tasted like it was made with no seasoning , the broth was pale and no flavor . We got our drinks and asked for a hot tea and was told they had no running hot water . Asked for garlic as a extra item for the ramen wasn’t given it until we had to ask for it again , we were waited once and once we got our food we didn’t see the waitress again no refills no questions no nothing . I would avoid this ramen establishment and instead try elsewhere, for 80$ for 3 people you would think the food would be somewhat decent

I don’t like leaving 1 star reviews, but when I do I just have to. This place is lonely, the service is good but the quality of the Ramen/food is sadly bad. The soda they offer are from bottles of soda. I’m not kidding, their soda dispenser is not working. That explains why my coke was bad tasting and flat. I don’t know how long those sodas has been opened or how old they are. I ordered Ramen, compared to the other Ramen restaurants this was bad. It was ok to eat but not to enjoy eating. Their Ramen is the cheapest I seen for a bowl. But I will definitely pay more somewhere else for the quality in my Ramen and drinks. Maybe it’s bad management or not caring about the customers. Which explains why it’s so lonely, I never been to a Ramen restaurant that was empty during lunch time on a weekend. I recommend to look elsewhere if you want Ramen.

Ramen was not good. They need to work on their recipes! What do you mean the vegetarian ramen broth is water, salt, and sugar. No flavor! I do not recommend this spot you just dont serve something like that.

The pork katsu bento was satisfactory. The potstickers were undercooked and bland
The katsu was freshly breaded and cooked. Tasted good. California roll was meh but its not a sushi restaurant so no big deal.

Friend got chicken katsu in his tonkatsu ramen (not a common item u add to ramen) and it was fresh n hot he enjoyed it.

Atmosphere is perfect, staff is polite and fast. Simple menu makes it so that each item is perfection. Rather than too many items and a poor menu item.

I was a bit surprised by the wait. We were seated quickly. Ordered quickly then waited and waited. They have a television playing the food network which creates a juxtaposition when waiting for ramen noodles while watching comfort foods being prepared. The miso soup was hearty. Good flavor, not too salty with a little kick.
The vegetable Raman is packed with fresh vegetables. The vegetables have the right amount of crunch not over cooked, not under cooked. The noodles are slightly over cooked. I had garlic and spinach added. At first it was a bit bland so I asked the waiter, Tanner what he likes in his Ramon. He suggested an order of miso soup and a few shakes of Chile powder and a drop of Chile oil. Wow! If you eat there ask for Tanner!
