My husband and I haven’t been happy with the quality at our usual places, and found HITW searching on Google. We’ve driven by a ton of times, but we saw the great reviews so we gave it a shot. We were not disappointed. I don’t recall the names of the rolls but they were all fresh and delicious. The space is small, maybe 8-10 tables. We went at like 5:30 on a Sunday and it started to fill up as we were wrapping. There seemed to be only one server, she was sweet but busy. My hubs and I are understandably discerning when it comes to sushi and this place did not disappoint. Don’t be fooled by the tiny spot in a tiny strip mall, this place is Top Notch!

Stop looking for places to eat sushi and just come here. This is my new standard against what all other sushi places are rated against. I ordered the sushi and sashimi combo and every piece of fish was fresh,and perfectly prepared and handled. I cannot wait to come back to the area and eat here again

Our favorite sushi spot to dine in the area. The fish is always fresh and high quality (they fly the fish in fresh from Japan and filet it onsite). The staff is incredibly kind attentive. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere, perfect for a date night or a casual bite to eat. We normally dine in for dinner but they do take out and lunch specials as well. Can’t recommend this spot enough!

Highly UNDERRATED sushi spot in Alpharetta! We live close to downtown Alpharetta and wanted to try a new sushi place, and I found this restaurant on Google. It was super good reviews so we tried it out! We were NOT disappointed! It’s super small, quaint, and dimly lit. Great ambience! The food selection is unreal. They have everything you could want! We got so much food.
We started with the Japanese dumplings which were super good! We also got a sashimi platter and it was incredibly fresh and good quality fish! We were super impressed with the platter. Sashimi is our favorite and this was so good! We also go several different rolls, all of which were 10/10! The service is impeccable and the sushi chefs are legit! Highlyyyy recommend this place for sushi!! We will absolutely going back!

My date and I came here for the first time on a rainy Friday night as random walk-ins and had an amazing time. (I live about 10 minutes away but had never been here before). My date loves sushi so this is what popped up when we googled “sushi near me” and I’m so thrilled we did! The vibe was chill and relaxing, the food was SCRUMPTIOUS (I had the soft shell tempura and house poke, my date had the eel sushi) and the service was stellar from the moment we walked into the door to the time we left. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly! I appreciate having the opportunity to experience such gracious hospitality. Thank you for such a wonderful evening! Will definitely be back!

The name of this place cracks me up. I always say i love hole in the wall joints and man this place did not disappoint! We ordered about 6 rolls and while they did take a while to come, everything was amazing. There was absolutely no fish smell in the place which tells me everything was super fresh. We had rolls with all sorts of seafood including tuna, eel, salmon, scallop, white tuna and a couple others and nothing tasted off or old. Thank you guys so much for the fantastic food.

I’ve been looking for a good sushi place for a while and I think Hole in the Wall is definitely it! Right when you walk in, the shop is well kept and has lovely vibes. Service was prompt and the server was very nice. We got a few rolls and one of the avocado bombs, and they were amazing. They tasted so fresh and the sauces were incredible. It took a while to get our food, but it’s definitely worth the wait. Can’t rush greatness! We split 5 rolls between the 3 of us and it was a perfect amount of food. The Volcano roll is one of their speciality rolls and was one of the best and most unique rolls I’ve ever had.

Best sushi and sashimi I have had in years. A friend and I decided to try the premium platter. Went with the chef recommendations and were not disappointed. Everything was outstanding! Service was great and a nice atmosphere as well. This will be my go to sushi spot from here on out. Highly recommend! Really nice and professional staff!
