Granted, when I first arrived for dinner it took quite awhile to be seated despite the restaurant not being very busy. That being said, once seated everything got much better. From most seats you can see the hot spring pools and there’s a small outdoor seating area.
The food was superb. There was a jerk chicken wings special that evening which I opted to try alongside a house salad. The clam chowder was delicious (full of clams) and the beyond burger was super tasty. While I didn’t have it, the fish & chips looked incredible. Not small little pieces but one long fillet!
The meal was so good we went back for breakfast the next day. The breakfast wasn’t quite as good and I didn’t feel the value was there but they did allow us to order the smaller kids breakfast (which was still a lot of food.) The bacon and sausage were both extremely high quality.
While many will opt to cook at their cabin or campsite I can’t recommend a meal here enough. Great service & great food!
Jordan was an excellent server and made us feel right at home, especially when we learned he is from Alabama too.
The long version- The women who seated and served us were great so 5 stars for them.
Food was nothing to write home about. Brussel sprouts had good flavor but were room temperature when given to me. BLT was very thin and sad looking- I think there was maybe 3 pieces of bacon on the sandwich. The lettuce was browning at the end and on the very edges like it had gone bad. And the condiments were sparse and not all over the bread so most of the sandwich was very dry. My husband said his burger was good but not a $28 burger.
Our waitress was doing her best in a clearly understaffed kitchen, but that couldn’t salvage the timing: fruit, bacon, and French toast came first; my eggs lagged behind by ten full minutes—well after I’d finished everything else.
The food was forgettable, the coffee lukewarm, and the prices much too proud of themselves. Not a place we’d revisit.
You have seating are facing the pool too. They have coffee too .
Service was also really good.
BUT… it was FREEZING. So cold it made our experience pretty unpleasant.
