Great spot with awesome views. Service was great! Food was so-so. Not that much better than an Applebees for double the price. To clarify we had steaks that were fairly bland and chewy. The other menu items sounded great and so not sure on those tastes.

Absolutely beautiful space. Service was subpar; girl has an attitude the entire time.. Charged for full glasses of wine and poured half a glass in these six ounce glasses (pics included) – ordered chicken picante that was SWIMMING IN SAUCE. Others around me all got larger glasses with the proper pour. Too bad I bartended for 20+ yrs and worked in the industry.

What a Great Stop! This place is AWESOME!!! Had the Philly for lunch it was super good. The atmosphere here is wonderful. The deck has Great views and the bar is relaxing. Our server April was great. Dont pass by this Place. If you like follow my travels on instagram at mylifemyterms55 .

Sometimes roaming around looking for good food pays off in unexpected locations. Western Michigan along Lake Michigan north of Muskegon can be a rough area for good food. Driving around aimlessly while trying to avoid franchise restaurants was the best decision particularly since this place was hidden in golf course/water park facilities. Friendly staff and surprisingly good entrées including very well prepared salmon, and nicely decorated western themed restaurant. Highly recommended.

came here a few days ago. food was good but Mia M was extremely rude and unprofessional, had a attitude the entire time and made my whole time unpleasant. i’ve came here many times through these years and never once been treated so poorly. will not be coming back. if i were the manager/owner i’d hire anyone else in her place.

This was our first time dining here, though we’ve visited several times before for the water park, mini golf, and snow tubing. Overall, the food was pretty solid.
I had the steak sandwich (ordered medium-rare). Flavor was good, but a few pieces were a bit tough and slipped out of the sandwich. Would’ve liked the steak to be a little more tender for easier bites. That said, I’d still consider ordering it again.
My wife tried the shrimp pasta. It was nothing you’d slap your mama about. My son had the chicken Alfredo—unfortunately, the chicken was on the dry side and didn’t really get eaten. Probably wouldn’t order that again.
On a brighter note, the spinach dip was phenomenal—definitely the standout. Highly recommend grabbing that as a starter.

The atmosphere and views are spectacular. Our dining experience was excellent. Delicious food and superb service. We were very pleased that we ventured off the beaten path to visit this restaurant. The resort in which it is situated is extremely beautiful. I highly recommend dining here.

Walked in and wasn’t greeted, did not know where to go or what to do as there isn’t a hostess stand in immediate view. We finally decided to walk around and the server said she’d be with us in a moment and disappeared . She was the only staff member I saw in the entire place which is not fair to her, even if it wasn’t extremely busy. The food was pretty awful. I had the Cajun pasta pictured here, the oil was separated in the sauce immediately. Tasted like the frozen tortellini you get at the grocery store. The chicken strips on top were VERY similar to the pre-cooked chicken at the grocery store. We also got a burger and mini corn dogs for the kids and they took one bite of those and said they were really bad. The burger was dry and bland.
The only redeeming quality of this place is the view from the windows.

Delicious meals and beautiful setting. Great place to celebrate our anniversary. My husband really liked the vegetables. They were nicely seasoned. His pecan crusted walleye was tender and delicious, and very good fries. My salad had a generous portion of steak and the Bleu cheese dressing was very good.

I’ve stopped into Curly Horse for lunch every time I come to Double JJ water park. The restaurant is beautiful, with incredible vaulted ceilings with giant wooden beams and the biggest windows I’ve seen looking out with an amazing view of their golf course and the woods beyond. The food was quite good and my waitress was very sweet and attentive.
