Ribs, brisket and wings were delicious. Collard greens on the other hand were not so good. To much grease and they tasted like they had sugar in them. The mac and cheese was a no go as well. Just completely had no taste. Will definitely go back for their meats though.

Some of the best pulled pork you’ll have. A bit pricey but you get a ton of meat so it’s worth it, plus it tastes great. They were nice enough to refill my water bottle with ice on the way out too. They have outdoor seating options and on Sunday the whole street is closed down there so it’s nice and quiet.

Amazing barbecue in charm city. We ate the brisket sandwich with candied jalapeños and a side of thin cut fries. The small fry can definitely be split amongst two people (or three). The smoke flavor and tenderness of the brisket was enjoyable. Definitely will be back

First time visiting and I was really pleased. The owner was the only person working due to shortages. He answered all questions and prepared the food quickly. The pulled pork , fries, ribs and greens all had good flavor and taste.

I moved up to Bmore from Texas so the bar is fairly high. The pulled pork is VERY good, some of the best I have had anywhere; flavored beautifully, good smoke and season. The brisket was ok, i prefer mine with a little less smoke and a little less done but it was solid. Fries, slaw, pickles and onions were fantastic. Overall this is some of the best BBQ in baltimore, looking forward to trying the ribs next. Good size portions, great value.
Update: had the brisket again…. wow! Amazing! Not over smoked, so tender, really good. Worthy of being Texas BBQ. Collard greens are bangin!

I went to Woodrow’s to get some ribs. I ordered a half slab each of spare and babyback ribs with collard greens and mac & cheese (lg). I got home to find out the rids were not fresh. They were very dry. I was so disappointed. I don’t live close by the restaurant, so taking them wasn’t an option. The greens and mac & cheese were sufficient. I chose this restaurant in view of their reviews. What this has taught me is to check to make sure the food is fresh before I leave a restaurant when picking food up or ordering to take out of the establishment.

Amazing Brisket. One of the true places you can taste and smell a Smokey flavor. BBQ sauce not even needed, but still great. Love the hot fresh fries.

Excellent BBQ.
I ordered the Pulled Pork sandwich, Baby Back Ribs, Cowboy Ranch Beans & Fries.
Indoor & Outdoor seating.
I waited about 5 minutes for my order and the ribs took an extra 15 minutes. Service speed could be better.

Charm, customer service, delicious food. This place has got it all. Got a beer, didn’t even finish it because I was too busy eating the food. Will be back for the brisket!!!

A very small restaurant with a small number of tables inside, two sets of bench seating under shade and some bench seating on the sidewalk. Service was wonderful. Was expecting to grab food and bring to our table outside but they offered to bring it out to us. Wings came in 5 for half an order and 10 for a full. Ordered the half and it was nice a juicy. If you like brisket, get the Woodrow sandwich as opposed to the brisket by the pound. The sauce that accompanied the brisket, which were cut in chunks, kept the brisket moist. The brisket by the pound was thinly sliced and very dry with very little fat. Mac and cheese was wonderful as well as the green beans with the sweet tomatoes. Overall an okay place but was a little disappointed with how the brisket by the pound turned out.
