Stop! If you’re thinking about stopping by, stop thinking and just come on in. I was driving through from North Little Rock to West Monroe Louisiana and I am so thankful I made it as they were closing. Just be warned that they might be running out of food closer to closing.

Stopped in to grab a burger to try it out. It was big and tasty. The double was big enough to fill me up and keep me from eating all the frys.

Dora was very friendly and we got what we ordered. I don’t think I’ll order the shrimp again, they were just OK. The sides were great – green beans, mac n cheese & beans. I should have got what my friends ordered – chopped chicken sandwich, ribs or a burger – they were all good! Room holds about 8 tables. Note they no longer have fried okra.

Solid BBQ and very friendly people. Picked this up as I was passing through. The chocolate cake was amazing, and the honeybun cake was excellent. Heading back through this area in a few weeks, but they’re closed on Mondays, so I’ll have to find another day to get back there to get some more cakes to take home.

I have only had food here once and it was decent. The Mac and cheese tasted like sugar was added. I have no idea why sugar would be added. Also it would be better customer service if a sign was placed outside by the drive thru line when you have ran out of food and are only giving food to people that have called in orders. Waiting in line for 15-20min with two hungry kids only to be told everything has been sold out is crazy. A simple sign would do.

The BBQ is pretty good, but be aware, there is a fee attached if you pay with a debit or credit card. I didn’t know this until I noticed it on my statement. The charge I was told when I placed my order at the drive-through window was completely different from what was charged to my card. I was not told about this card processing fee when I placed my order. Now that you know, be aware! But like I said earlier the BBQ is pretty good, only wished they’d been transparent about the added fee!
