Great vibes, great staff, and even better food at an affordable price. I got the malted milk boba which came with freshly made boba, the kids chicken nugget plate with some of the mamahuhu original MSG seasoning. One of my favorite meals during my trip to San Francisco so far!

Loved the Malt Milk Sundae sweet with a little bit of salt. Cabbage salad was fresh and tasty. Staff was friendly and helpful and store was clean!

Love this place, the sweet and sour chicken is my go to. The service is always amazing and the food is even better! They always have good music at just the right volume. Me and my kid come quite often, highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

First let me say I freaking love the kids plate! Gluten Free chicken yum.

But seriously the service is so bad, every time I am here with my family they all get their food and my kids plate takes 12 – 15 minutes longer… They my family complete their meals and have to wait for me. I would say it’s a mistake the first time, but the fifth time is just too much.

Also just to note, and I totally get that it’s a fast food restaurant but In And Out Burger is cleaner.

We are big fans of the Lazi Chicken. It’s easy to eat, packs a punch, has a crisp. Great take on explosive chicken. Their snow jasmine soda is refreshing, but doesn’t taste like watered down tea.

Got hot and sour soup and mapo tofu. The food is way too salty and doesn’t taste authentic whether I consider this as Cantonese or Sichuan food. I had Chinese food my whole life and never had dried black beans sprinkled on my mapo tofu before, there was no ma, and there was very little la. The sweet and sour chicken my significant other got was decent though and the service is good though so I am giving it a 3 stars.

Sweet and sour chicken was outstanding. The place is a little pricey but tasty. Limited seating makes dining in a problem when it’s raining. Also, wouldn’t hurt the female cashier to be slightly friendly to customers JM2C. In contrast, shout out to Alex who was super nice and friendly recommending his favorites on the menu. Cheers!

Super yummy Chinese American classics made with actual real good for you ingredients (ie grass fed beef!) I love the funky, fun and relaxed, fast casual vibe. Mamahuhu is one of our favorite regulars.

Strongly recommend the mapo tofu w/ pork + jade fried rice

Quite expensive for worse versions of dishes you could make at home without much effort. The cardinal sin, to me, is that they’ve replaced MSG in their food with “MSG” (powdered mushroom/seaweed/garlic). They’re very proud of this, though they don’t seem too sure why they’ve done it.

The name of this restaurant loosely means “so-so.” Unfortunately, even that descriptor is pushing it.

We drove up here from the South Bay with a friend to eat here after seeing a video on Instagram about their Double Happiness meal (fancy fried fish sandwich with caviar).

We arrived at 11:30AM, and were surprised that immediately thereafter two other parties entered too. A good sign for a place to have a solid contingent of customers right when it opens.

We ordered the aforementioned Double Happiness meal, sweet and sour chicken rice plate, tingly fried chicken sandwich combo with hot and sour soup, jasmine tea soda, and pineapple tonic water.

The sandwich was quite good, it’s too bad we live so far!
