I had an cheese and onion omelette. The eggs weren’t done the first time and had to send it back. I also ordered toast, but they were out of bread? What the hell? Altho they had really good biscuits, I wanted regular toast. The prices were fair and the atmosphere was good

Tried Swiss steak (Lunch special) for the first time. I enjoyed it good quality meal at a good price. Old diner/cafe atmosphere that I really like. It is geared towards a older clientele. Comments from the peanut gallery are unsolicited lol

First of all the staff was very nice. I ordered the Ruben, with fries and a sweet tea. The tea was great as well as the fries. The Ruben on the other hand was the worst I ever had, and I knew after one bite. I’m usually easy on food, but there is too much room for improvement here.

Small menu but good portions and quality. The interior is dated but cozy. It’s not a modern, trendy cafe. It a small town diner like restaurant that puts out good food at a reasonable prices.

They food was served hot. But, you could go to your freezer and cook it. And get the same results. But ok, if you’re not in the mood for cooking .
They service was wonderful and made you feel like your family.

I passed through on a road trip a while back and it’s not fine dining, but basically the entire menu is comfort food. If desperately want to use a time machine to visit a 1950s southern restaurant, this place is pretty close to that; it doesn’t appear to have been remodeled since the Eisenhower administration. Try the country ham and eggs with biscuit and gravy, you won’t be disappointed. It would probably make a pretty good filming location if you’re into that.
