I ordered over the phone and picked up my food from the food truck. It seems to a mom and pop set up with some seating in the building adjacent inside. They were really nice people. We ordered lamb gyro, falafel and chicken shawerma. Everthing we had was good.

Delicious! Ordered for pick up tonight… lamb grill plate with rice and salad and a chicken shawerma combo with falafel on the side. Also got the baba ghanoush and the spinach pastries. Perfect amount of food and everything was delicious. Would have included a picture but it smelled so good we couldn’t wait to dig in! Order was ready when promised and the staff was hustling doing a brisk business and were courteous and attentive to everyone who walked up. Thanks and we will definitely order again!

After this place was highly recommended to me, I stopped by today to check it out for myself. The food was fantastic and the service was phenomenal. I ordered the lamb gyro and the chicken shawarma plate, and both were just as delicious as the same dishes I had while visiting the Middle East. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and even my boyfriend, who is the pickiest eater, loved it. This will definitely become a regular spot for us.

If you’re anywhere near Old Trolley Road in Summerville, make the stop at Shawerma House. While it’s technically a food truck, it’s set up in a permanent location with convenient parking, so it’s easy to swing in and grab a meal. You can order through all the major delivery services, use their website, or walk up and order in person like I did.
I ordered the kabob plate with both a chicken kabob and a beef kabob. It came with a generous portion of wonderfully seasoned, fluffy rice — and plenty of it. On the side was a fresh chopped salad with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and a cool tzatziki sauce that added a bright, refreshing balance to the plate. The vegetables were super fresh and crisp, and every bite had great flavor.
The beef kabob was fantastic — well-seasoned ground beef formed on the skewer with bold, savory flavor. But the chicken was the star of the show for me. It was incredibly tender, juicy, and seasoned perfectly. Not spicy at all — just rich, balanced flavor done right.
They offer a wide selection beyond kabobs: lamb, chicken, beef shawarma, hummus, grape leaves, and several authentic Middle Eastern sides that can be hard to find done properly.
If you’re on this side of town, place an order and swing by to pick it up. It’s fresh, flavorful, and absolutely worth the stop.

Shawerma House has THE BEST lamb gyro my husband and I have had in a long, long time. We had our food in less than 10 minutes. The gyros were hot, had a perfect portion of each topping, the lamb was delicious and the tzatziki sauce was mouth watering. We will be back to try more! If you see this, you should also go try it!

I reached out to see if we could order for a staff meeting, the catch was we needed to pick up before they officially opened. They instantly said it was no problem. Everyone loved the food! Servings were large and everyone has leftovers for tomorrow! I know I will be back and I feel sure most of my coworkers will as well!
