Cutest tea room I’ve ever seen, with the tastiest British home foods I’ve had since I left Britain. Owner is sweet, welcoming, and has truly brought a little piece of the UK to Pensacola. Book your events here! Handsome lad in the kitchen really knows what he’s doing. I’ll be back regularly!

English’s tea experience in Pensacola, FL!

I’ve come to the Olde English Creamery 3x from the span of 2019 to now and have enjoyed my experiences each time!

Atmosphere: Located in the historic part of downtown, the space feels like a cozy cottage (perfect for afternoon tea)! I came with my British friend, and she said that she felt like she was in England with the way the shop is decorated.
Service: Upon arrival, you choose the table you want to sit at, and the server then comes to take your tea order!
Menu items: There are a variety of loose leaf tea options, and each individual person at the table gets their own tea pot! I got the Earl Grey on my most recent visit and split a Full Afternoon Tea with my friend! The tier they provide is made up of three different courses: sandwiches + sausage wheels, scones + pastries, and a sweet of some sort!

I love that all of the tea cups and tea pots are different shapes, styles, and colors! What’s even more enticing about the shop is that the owner is from England, so you actually experience an authentic afternoon tea!

The food is amazing. Whomever that lady with the micro bangs was serving us seemed to not like my group of 3 specifically. I paid for 3 people to get served tea. One of my friends was running late due to an accident but you pay for an hour and a half experience. She was almost 30 minutes late but we did warn our server. She had plenty of time to still order tea, however our waitress never asked. It was hard enough to get her attention as she was too busy cleaning dishes. We had to fight to get extra sugar and cream, as she didn’t want to give us any since we weren’t completely out yet. However by the next cup, we then had to wait and felt uncomfortable asking for more. She explained the food to everyone else around us except for our group so we had no idea what we were even eating. I asked about wines and she said “I don’t know”. I can truly understand if you don’t know about the wine because you’ve never had it or don’t drink but she didn’t say anything else. She acted as if I were a bother to her. She ruined our first time experience going here for our friends birthday sadly. Seemed like a cool place and I’m not sure if she was having a bad day but we definitely did not feel welcomed.

I was super excited to visit this place to celebrate my birthday and it did not disappoint. We reserved the full English tea…we had one person cancel last minute and still had to pay for her but it all worked out. Everything was delicious, and we had a great time. The shop is small but cute. The staff very friendly. The desserts were my favorite part. The eclectic tea pots, cups and saucers were really pretty as well. Everyone enjoyed their tea choices and I ordered an Elderberry fizz as well.

We honestly didn’t know what to expect when we arrived. We’ve heard great things and had planned the visit for a couple of months. The service was outstanding and personable. Atmosphere was relaxing and really set the mood for the experience. We came in without a reservation and luckily it was a light time. There was two of us that had gluten allergies and they were able to accommodate. The food was out of this world. The teas were smooth and just like described. We are definitely planning another trip.

Came here for a birthday tea party with my family and had a great experience. The tea palace was very fancy and beautiful. The food was great, and the tea was delicious. The staff were super nice, and I loved every bit of it. I should also mention this was my first experience with something like this, and I would definitely come back.

The experience is wonderful. We went for the full tea. The teas were delightful, the foods presentation was amazing with a variety of taste. The building is older but well kept up and has a thoughtful layout for the tables. If you are on the fence about making a reservation and going this can be your sign to go for it.

Just delightful!

I have held several large group get togethers here and my friends had the best time. The place is small (so reserve early!), but charming with little touches of flair all around. The mixed matched tea sets are delightful and everyone gets super excited to see which teapot they’ll receive. I really appreciate the variety of tea to include non-caffeinated ones for those wishing to abstain. Personally, I like the lavender.

The food is outstanding. Sometimes I swing by without a reservation just for a sausage roll for takeaway, they are THAT GOOD. The scones are perfection and the clotted cream is the best I’ve had this side of the pond. Recently we went on a Viking Cruise to the Mediterranean that had a high tea and it really did not live up to the Olde English Creamery. Not even close.

The ladies working here are super sweet and welcoming. They’re constantly running to ensure each set of guests has everything they need to really enjoy themselves.

Keep your eyes open for themed tea events (like Harry Potter or Taylor Swift!) and don’t be scared to dress up! Hats, fascinators, feathers, dresses, suits all make for a fun time. Dressing up is half the fun of coming here 🙂

There’s a pay by the hour car park half a block to the east, or if you’re lucky you can find some on-street parking near the park.

They do serve wine and bubbly if you’re celebrating!
