Me and my family came here looking for good Mexican food that reminded us of home in San Diego. I cannot say enough great things about this place. Immediately upon entering we were greeted. All employees interacted with were very nice and friendly. I believe the owner came over and talked to us, and gave my daughter a little coloring book. Also the food was soo good. Amazing chips and salsa and our entrees were also very good. We will definitely be returning.

This place is overhyped. We got the nastiest asada meat. Some pieces were black and dry hard like it’s been sitting there all day. First time here and very unsatisfying to have the food I ordered didn’t even finish it. The asada fries were so bad. The diablo shrimp fries too much sauce and it’s more sauce than fries. 5 shrimps. If you want good food just go somewhere else.

So this restaurant deserves more than 5 stars! The food is as amazing but their service was AMAZING! Due to my not doing my research properly I thought they closed at 10 but I found out as I walked in after 8 o’clock that they close at 8! They still sat us and asked the kitchen to stay open for us to order! I felt horrible I never go into a restaurant when it’s close to closing cause I know people work hard and wanna go home! These ladies were super welcoming and friendly!! Thank you Pata Salada for such great service and the food was on point!!

Ordered the taco salad with ground beef and absolutely disgusted. The meat was still pink and when calling about it being raw was told that “thats just how it looks since its first boiled then browned on the skillet after. Everyone eats it like that and loves it.” No matter which way you cook ground beef it should never be pink when severed.

Going to this place was an amazing experience! After spending time in Mazatlan and have tried the delicious food, Pata Salada restaurant didn’t disappoint. Everything that we had tried had a flavor of Mazatlan! I highly recommend this family business! Great customer service!

My husband and I went for dinner and ordered the oyster shooters which were absolutely delicious! We ordered the pork ribs in green salsa with nopales and the divorced eggs with potatoes. Both were just ok, they didn’t give us any silverware or asked if we needed a refill on our waters. So definitely need to work on their customer service a bit more.

Very disappointed in the service and food. For the prices they charge I was expecting something much better. The rice was hard and beans were not good either. The service was horrible even though there wasn’t very many customers at the time that I got there. I had one server take our drink order, had to wave another server down, because it had been about 12 minutes and no one had came to take our food order. I had really high hopes for this place, but it was not a good experience. I also will say a smile goes a long way, a tip for the staff, who all seemed to be having a bad day.
