Located at the Waterside Food Park on Indian Point Road next to Still Waters Resort. At Tenders we’re all about the food. Or should we say the Chicken and Dogs! We begin by using quality chicken which is treated to our special preparation techniques before being marinated in our proprietary batter. Once it’s properly fried to a crisp golden-brown, we serve it up with a plate full of fusion inspired sides and a drink.

AMAZING!
The food was awesome, hands down, awesome.
I had a small issue using the app Grubhub where the order didn’t go through, but the gentleman working the food truck was absolutely awesome to make it all right.
For a family of 5 we got
(2) chicken and waffle sandwiches
(1) 7 piece chicken strip basket
Sides of sweet potato waffle fry and another of regular waffle fry.
All of it was so good, highly recommend we will be back!

This place has no business making chicken tenders this good. Truly top tier across the country. I’ve been to places that brag up their tenders and overcharge for them but they can’t hold a handle to this hidden food truck. Obviously never frozen and hand breaded with a nice pepper kick.

Just had lunch here today, and it was absolutely fantastic. Admittedly, it’s a bit pricey, however, I got a lot for my money. I took a five piece tenders basket with sweet potato waffle fries, and I could only eat half of it. However, even after eating my last sweet potato fry, I tried to eat even one more, but if I tried yet another one, I think I might’ve made myself sick, but in a good way.
The food is so hot, it’ll burn the roof of your mouth, so be careful. That’s what you call fresh. I also like the fact that they give it to you in a container that is closable and you can take it with you and put it in the refrigerator for later. That’s genius.
Highly recommend this place

This placed was closed the first 4 days of our 5 day trip with no note or any kind of explanation posted. When we noticed it was finally open we were excited to try it based on all these good (presumed fake) reviews. A single 3 piece tender meal took 25 minutes to cook with nobody ahead of us in line, and after getting the food it was overcooked and dry as could be. The chicken, the fries and the coleslaw. The only thing good here was the bottled drinks. Don’t waste your money. Make the trip back to the strip and get Chick-fil-A for about the same money and you won’t be disappointed. 0/10. Not to mention the poor attitude of the woman working. Terrible food, terrible service.

Chicken and waffles were literally the best I’ve ever had. the flavors were 10/10 (and I’m usually not a chicken and waffle fan)— And the waffle was super sweet and perf! Also the chicken breading is great— v fresh and served HOT. Was quick to get and nice staff 🙂 just hate the flies in the area, but that’s not on the biz! But cute food truck park!

The chicken was hot, fresh, and delicious. The waffle fries were awesome, and the service was great. All around a great experience. My husband and I split a 7 piece meal and it was enough for us with some left over fries too.

Yes, a little pricey – but it’s a tourist and vacation area, you have to expect to pay a little more. Either way – the price did not bother me ONE BIT after trying the food. We fell in love with the chicken, and the waffle fries. The seasoning is superb. Hoping they are still around on my next vacation so we can visit a few more times.

I’ve never had chicken and waffles before. Correction: I’ve had “chicken and waffles” before but I no longer consider any of them to actually be chicken and waffles. I can’t think of any better way to start the morning, or lunch or any other moment of my life that someone would grace me with this delicious food. Waffles are perfectly sweet but smooth, the chicken is juicy and tender and perfectly lightly breaded, bacon is cooked perfectly (never crispy and burnt like they serve at insane asylums), and the hot honey and even the regular honey are the perfect touch to top it all off. Don’t be a wuss just get the hot honey, it’s not that hot.
Update: Went back for lunch (yes only 6 hours after the delectable chicken and waffles) and got the Korean sandwich. When my soul returns to my body after this otherworldy experience I will try and come up with a new language in which to describe it. Until now I’m speechless to even try. The best I could come up with was to walk back up to the gentleman who made me the food and bow.
PS I don’t know what is wrong with the fool who gave a one star because he thought they were open and then they weren’t. (Don’t be an a-hole and 1 star food when you literally didn’t even go when they were open, also it is a food truck, they aren’t always open when you would like, they don’t have a restaurant, chill). This place is a stone cold 5 star, not a 4.8, not a 4.95. A 5 star.

It’s a food truck in the Waterside Food Park on Indian Point. Currently only open weekends, maybe Thursdays? Really good food. Large portions. Cute outdoor dining area with yard games. Friendly staff. You can have as many sauces as you want! The Korean sauce is wonderful!

Had a great meal and will always remember this place. I was having a bad day not feeling well and I passed by and thought it seemed like an amazing place to stop and eat. I’m glad I trusted my gut. Chicken has never steered me wrong and it sure didn’t disappoint here. 10/10 great place.
