Spectacular sandwiches! Honestly just great. Fresh ingredients and huge. Everything you want in a good sandwich. They even accommodates my celiac friend and got hers on a platter instead of on bread. Would totally come back, and I 100% recommend the chicken capresse one.

Hands down the best eggplant parm I’ve ever had ! The fried eggplant is so crispy and crunchy on the outside but soft and delicious on the inside, the sauce is flavorful, and the bread is fresh ! I added cherry peppers for a little extra zest.

Good get away from the crowds, but underwhelming sandwiches.

Both the sausage + broccoli raab and eggplant parm were unsalted. Marinara sauce on a soggy roll that turns to mush ain’t it.

Ingredients are solid, but flubbed the actual sandwich. Easily fixable, it’ll get better from here.

Stopped in after a nearby hike. Nice decor, friendly & fast service. Good sandwich overall, but very expensive, even by NY standards. 2 sandwiches & 2 sodas cost $50. Each sub was a footlong with fresh ingredients, but nothing crazy fancy. As others have mentioned, they don’t have their prices posted on their menu so be ready for sticker shock once they ring you up at the register.
If their sandwiches were less pricey, we would return in a heartbeat. Until then, likely a one time thing for us.

Went right in to order my sandwich, they had outdoor seating but I went with take away for the ferry. Went with the Bordain and was not disappointed. This place is not on main street so I’m guessing why it wasn’t more popular, but it should be.

Despite being full from a meal at Cold
spring Depot, I ended up bringing home 2 sandwiches to reheat all weekend. Named for the owner’s grandfather, you can taste the legacy of good home booking here.

Everything needs more salt and more sauce. Got the mozzarella app, and the tomato sauce was straight from the fridge and ice cold. Eggplant parm was a very generous size, but actually needs less cheese and eggplant, and more sauce, as it was very dry.

Food is great! One star removed for limited access (weekends only) and because I can’t find a phone number anywhere!

EDIT: why do you have an unlisted number for a business? Seems a bit counter productive to me

Sandwich was good but overpriced. They also don’t list their prices anywhere. I watched three people walk out without ordering because they do this. Would be a simple fix!
