At our Andalusia, AL location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

1-6-26 Jesus Christ I came into captain d’s this evening there was nobody in the front to take my order I went to the drive through waited a good 5 min no one answered to take my order so I went to the good old piggly wiggly for a quick meal . I drove back through captain d’s parking lot to see a lady in a blue shirt with a headset sitting in the lobby clearly she had enough time on her hands to chill rather then take my order . Very highly disappointed

I will never come here again I came and got the fish and shrimp with Mac and cheese and fries I ordered the garlic herb shrimp but instead I got the regular shrimp and I also ordered more but my concern is when I started eating and I look down and seen black stuff then I look further and it’s a bug and I instantly stopped eating and lost my appetite and what makes it worse is I had to go to work and I couldn’t take it back!

Yesterday afternoon around 5:00 pm I dined in at captain d’s i was immediately disgusted the lady who brought me my food smelled like pure marijuana it’s one thing to smoke illegal drugs but to come into work smelling like it is another something needs to be done about that or I will get in contact with the owner I enjoy eating at captain d’s but I will not spend my hard earned money eating at an establishment that condone this nonsense I don’t smoke illegal drugs so I don’t want my hair nor clothes smelling like it!

I can not thank captain d’s enough I recently brought my grandfather from the nursing home to try fried oysters my lord the service was outstanding our food came out hot and fresh customer service was excellent there was this particular lady I think she told us she recently became general manager if I can recall if I can give that women the shirt off my back I would not only was her customer service excellent she helped my grandfather with all his concerns . 10/10 experience we will be back ❤️

The food was good just did not have what it was supposed to had only one piece of fish on it a few shrimp a few butterfly shrimp was not what I was expecting to pay for almost 20 bucks for one meal for some kind of seafood platter King platters food whatever it’s called but does not recommend getting or going to waste the time and money The food was cold The servants were short very very disappointed

Thirty minutes in drive-thru is crasy after you order. The managers and district manager need to come and have a discussion with there employees. Or managers who care more. This was our first time here after a year and had the same service. I’ll be waiting another year before I come back.

I got my food to go and my order was taken by the most polite young lady- her name is Maggie- she is wonderful ! Give that girl a RAISE ! My order was correct & my food was yummy. One of my better fast food experiences – I’ll be back FOR SURE !
