I ordered the crab leg rolls, and the food came out quickly. However, I found a dead gnat in the ginger, lying on its back with its wings spread.

This was our very first time trying this place last night, and it was a very good experience! The service was friendly and swift. My mom and I ordered the steak & shrimp hibachi dinner and my dad ordered the steak hibachi dinner. The hibachi was great and not loaded down with sodium, oils, or a bunch of sugar; you could actually enjoy the essence of the food itself, but it was still very flavorful. I especially liked the brown sauce it came with, and the pink sauce made it even better in my opinion. The only thing I’d say I feel they could improve on though is the side house salad; it was just lettuce with only a few shreds of carrots with a cup of thousand island dressing. I just feel like they could make it a little more interesting with things like maybe some diced tomatoes or cucumbers or something like that, and also the dining area feels cold. But we also ordered the Japanese egg rolls and they were good and crispy, and it came with this red sauce that tasted like it had notes of fruit in it. Also, I tried the Japanese Sprite with my meal (I got the Lychee flavored one) and it was an interesting and unique experience because of the design of the bottle itself and how you have to open it (it has a marble in it), but it also had this floral and aromatic kind of taste which I really enjoyed. Overall, we loved our experience here and we will definitely consider coming back!

Woman at front counter has the absolute WORST attitude and the steak in my steak fried rice was almost raw the last time I went, it was very pink in the middle, was barely even browned on the outside. I have been there on several occasions, I tried to give them more than 1 chance, but they never improve, just get worse.

They were bustling on a Saturday, taking care of to-go orders and dine-in well. Fresh food, and it’s unique that you always get steamed carrots as a side with hibachi.
NOTE: although the hibachi menu indicates times for lunch and dinner, with different prices for each, I ordered at noon and automatically got the dinner version, so I guess you have to specify.

I used to love this place and used to be my go to place when working in Brandon. I will never go there again after my experience the other night. I was picking up a doordash.. Get there the lady at the front counter tells me they are cleaning the kitchen and that it would be a 15 minute wait.. & maybe I should come back in 15 minutes.. I said no I will wait.. She was very rude to me and my children.. To the point I had to get ugly with her & that is way out of my character. She needs to learn how to watch her mouth and treat her customer with some respect.. I was there over 45 minutes waiting and it took me over an hour to get my customer her order of SUSHI!!! I will never pick up an order or order myself from OEC Brandon again.
