Nice comfortable environment. The young women who took my order may have been having a bad day. She seemed edgy.
I ordered the turkey Rueben. It was sopping wet because the brine was not drained from the sauerkraut. It was so wet that I couldn’t even pick it up. I did not have them remake it and instead asked for utensils so I could eat it like a pot pie. The turkey tasted good.

East Bay Deli is one of my favorite places to go and grab a quick lunch, I haven’t had a sandwich or salad that I didn’t like! When they opened the EBD over here in the Cayce area, it really made things so much more amazing because it cut down on extra travel/traffic to get to the one near the hospital. Parking is easy to navigate and there are multiple ways to get in and out of the parking lot with little to no headache.
The restaurant is clean and well maintained. The staff are super friendly, especially Lizzy- anytime I see her working when I come in- I know I’m going to have the freshest bread, lettuce, everything! She is always so genuinely kind and patient with every customer I’ve ever seen her interact with – which speaks volumes this day and time.
