I rate it a complete five stars, it has a very welcoming atmosphere and everything you expect from a hoagie is already there. Great food, and every other customer was nice and welcoming. The people were amazing. Come here if you want real food other than what you get at fast food places. And it still has its retro style from the 70s. Amazing restaurant.

Waste of money.Easily the worst Italian sub or sandwich I’ve had. The soaked dressing is disgusting and wish it just came on the sandwich. Never again. Better off buying lunch meat and making something at home. also for cheese steaks they use “minute steak-ums”. Better off just going to Jersey Mikes then trying one of these local establishments

I’ve always loved it here! I even worked here a “few years” back lol. The food is always amazing and although the front end staff changes more often than not, the long time employees who remain are really the glue that holds that old time, hometown favorite restaurant together!

Growing up in the area, this place was a staple of my childhood. Returning over 20 years later did not disappoint. The tastes and atmosphere are exactly the way I remebered them. The salad is my favorite, their homemade dressing being the chef’s kiss!

Wow this was amazing. 5 stars for the food alone. Great onion rings but that cheesesteak on the Pita bread with the house dressing and salad. Oh wow. I like the dining environment. They have a nice diner area up front and a larger dining area for busy dinners in the back. Staff was great. I loved it! I love Mum & Pop shops.

He needs to as the Owner needs to treat his employees and pay his employees better this is and has been a long long time consistent place. New generation and corporate America took a lot of his business away. But Awesome food and always consistent.

This is a hidden treasure. The salad dressing alone makes the stop worth it. But all that fresh chopped mozzarella takes every hoagie to the next level.

I’m so done with this location. It was awful and gross I got a meatball kiaser sandwich with cheese was cold like out the fridge cold with cheese that wasn’t even SLIGHTLY melted like it usually is ( usually are really good meatball sandwiches) cheese balls were extremely overcooked that they were hard to even bite into and burnt looking (if I could post pics I would), and the dressing was like eating apple cider vinegar not a lot of base taste to it. Only thing that was good was my daughters crispy chicken salad with no dressing. So there went 30 bucks exclude the cken salad went down the drain. It’s gone downhill. This location will never get my service again. I will gladly take my service to the Hollidaysburg location that is owned by a different owner, better and bigger selections, and has better customer service. I go here cuz it’s easier and right up the street. I’m not even bothering to call and complain for it isn’t going to get me nowhere. So anyone that wants to go here think twice and travel the extra 10-15mins and go to the one in Hollidaysburg. Trust me you’ll thank me later. They are trained to take pride in their jobs and the food they serve the customers. They would never served the cheese balls the way I got mine tonite or any other restaurants for that matter. They should be ashamed of themselves.
