Awesome place! The food was good, the service was great and the atmosphere was great as well. We went during lunch and there were only a few other tables there. I can imagine that dinner time it would be more packed. The queso was really good. I had the American Enchiladas but felt that I should’ve asked for the onions that they topped them with on the side. Too many onions for my liking. Other than that, our waitress was awesome and did a great job.

The food is always delicious!! Portions are large and the salsa is served warmed which is my favorite. Love the beam dip too. The prices to me are a little on the higher side but they do have lunch special that are worth the price. Anytime we go to DeRidder this is a great place to eat! Yum!! Great service as well!

Was our first time eating here. The staff was friendly but the one waitress on duty was overwhelmed with tables so the service was slow. I ordered Enchiladas off the lunch menu while my spouse ordered shrimp tacos off the regular menu. My plate was delicious but the shrimp taco plate wasn’t eatable. The manager took the taco plate off the bill which was good. Not going to put them in our Normal restaurant rotation as the Deridder area has many good Mexican restaurants. Worst service in the world. The greeter was nice, the resturant was packed and we understood there was a wait. However once at my table, the waitress[Black]was rude and unassuming to me and my wife[Black]. Then a table of 8 [White] came in front of us, and received top notch treatment. Even buffooning [laughing, dancing and joking] while we sat awaiting our drinks [wrong drinks several times] and chips/salsa….never received our meal more than a hour after ordering. I was patient. I left, and paid for the drinks we have a extra dip…the manager probably should have given the drinks free. On the what a burger for the best burger ever…do better lady, concerned tipping and regular customer!

The food and atmosphere is outstanding. Service was exceptional. The food had amazing flavor and everything is freshly prepared. Management came over and greeted us. The building is very beautiful and full of art and cool designs. Bathrooms are very clean. Definitely a place I will eat at again.

The food was spot on and we enjoyed ourselves with fantastic margaritas. The white cheese sauce/guacamole plate had a touch of spice to both. The food was fantastic but the drinks were off the chart. Tony, thank you for your kindness this evening and enjoyed the food and great service. Your staff worked hard. Ms. Vanessa did a great job on the Margheritas

Very open and spacious. I love all the brick and solid flooring…easy to keep clean.
The wait staff were prompt and pleasant.
I had Chille Relleno; a roasted Pablano Pepper stuffed with ground beef breaded with corn meal and fried, then covered in cheese and a red sauce. Very good.
My wife had the “Tacos Mexicano”; street tacos. The food wss very good.
They hsve a well stocked central bar you can sit at. TV’s everywhere for sports.

Had to take my rating down a bit. Past three visits on Sunday’s have not been good. Food has no flavor. I had shrimp enchiladas…plain boiled shrimp inside a plain, under-cooked flour tortilla, covered with a flavorless white cheese sauce. Half of avocado cut in three pieces on top, (supposed to be sliced avocado). Pico was not pico…just shredded lettuce and chopped tomato. Tortilla soup was good!
