I saw the photos online and wanted to try it out. I was not expecting it to be in a gas station but I was pleasantly surprised. The asada was so juicy and tender, you can’t beat the birria tacos and churros.. hands down the best in the area. Antonio was super friendly and I will definitely be coming back!

The customer service is excellent. The employees are attentive and helpful. The business is very clean and tidy. The food is delicious. This is my first time eating at this restaurant, and I definitely plan to return often and bring my family. I highly recommend it; it’s excellent. The food, the staff, and the business itself are all very well presented and of high quality.

Al pastor and the asada both had good flavor. I like that they put some white cheese on the tacos too. Surprisingly good for gas station tacos. Customer service isn’t over the top but they get their job done and get the food to you.

$10 for all this!!! Well there were 2 other tacos but I ate them. Amazing. Only wish there was a regular salsa option as I wasn’t a fan of the ones provided. But that’s just me personally. They double the tortillas so they don’t break when eating. Fresh and delicious barbacoa tacos. Will be back again, and again.

Best al pastor around, hands down. I’ve been 3 times since my last review and I always order a bunch of tacos.
Friendly service, the previous reviews regarding their customer service have been amended in my experience.
I just tried their new Birria Tacos which hold a very special place in my heart, but mannn $9.99 for 3 tiny tacos with hardly any meat in them. They were good, but they really need to put more meat in all of their tacos.
Still giving them 5 stars as my favorite place is 40 minutes away so Pepe still takes the cake.
Edit: The two times since this review that I’ve been back I’ve been given tacos with the wrong meat. I only order al pastor and don’t like roast beef, once I made it home before realizing me and my family’s 12 tacos were all the bland roast beef (barbacoa) so I had to drive back to exchange them out (20 minute drive). The next time I went through the drive thru with my father and specifically ordered Al Pastor and said it as clearly as I could as to not repeat my last experience, but as soon as I got the tacos (I knew to check before leaving this time) sure enough they were barbacoa again. I was polite as I could be and told him that I didn’t order this damn bland meat and he argued with me that I did. Dude told me he was busy and got whiny with me insisting that I ordered barbacoa even after I reminded him that it happened the time before which was the reason I checked. Afterwards he was less accusatory and told me to come in to order since the mic sucks, but that was a annoyingly frustrating experience and I will not be returning even if the food is the best I can get without having to drive 35+ minutes.
Fix your speaker/ mic, you can’t hear me and I can’t hear you.

The carne asada in the quesadilla was cooked to perfection, both flavorful & juicy. The tortilla was buttery & crisp, the salsas were spicy & the salad was fresh. Really good eats & Antonio is an awesome & friendly owner.

Pretty good little taco shop. Like so many of them in Texas, Taqueria Pepe is in a gas station. There is seating for about 8 to 10 people. Most people get their tacos to go. Food is fresh because this is a very busy station.
We both had the 3 taco special (three tacos, rice and beans). We tried carne guisada, barbacoa, chicken, el pastor pork. The pork was the only well flavored meat that could stand alone. The other meats/taco flavors really needed the lime and salsas to complete them.

I ordered the Monday burrito, it was the best burrito I’ve had in a long time! I got the asada, but will definitely be back to try the pastor. green sauce was delicious and great service.
