Cute little brunch spot, but smaller than expected and tables feel a bit cramped. We enjoyed the French toast and Impossible burger — both were really good.

I was surprised that the $4 hot tea was just hot water with Tazo sachets. That may be common, but I wouldn’t order it again. I also wouldn’t recommend the sweetened iced tea.

The check-in experience wasn’t great — we weren’t acknowledged for about 5 minutes while staff assisted hotel guests. However, our server was friendly once we were seated.

Overall, good food, but the service and overall experience could be better.

One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The drinks were top notch and staff were amazing. We loved everything! We enjoyed a Hibiscus Mimosa and Bloody Mary, shrimp and grits, and Eggs Benedict.

This is a pricey meal. Enjoyed the food, ambiance, and service. I had an appetizer, entree, and dessert. The appetizer and entree were fantastic. Less impressed with the dessert (espresso something) and it was served cold. I called and made reservations because limited space and fills up quickly. Being within the Hale hotel is neat but if you aren’t a guest —you’ll typically need to park and walk to get there. The flowers (edible on the meal is a cool touch ). The wall garden, candles on the table, and enjoyable music (Otis, BB King, etc ) made for a lovely dinner. Service and staff were friendly and helpful.

This restaurant is inside the Hotel Hale and as guests, we have dined at Eden several times during our stay. The food is excellent and Robert is very attentive. The owners, Pat and Ellen, are equally attentive. Great menu and haven’t had anything that wasn’t tasteful and enjoyable.

If you go to this restaurant and get Mouqhin as your waiter… Run away. We ordered a bottle of champagne and had to pour it ourselves. We couldn’t get refills on water. He wouldn’t take our order. He kept telling us to be quiet even though there was a bachelorette party next to us that was screaming and carrying on much louder than us. He was beyond rude. But he was happy to accept the automatic 20% gratuity on the bill. We will never go back here.

The owner Pat was lovely. We stopped for happy hour and rolled into dinner because the food and service was amazing. Unique and wonderful cocktail and their burata appetizer was a knock out. Thanks to our server Robert for a lovely experience

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! This restaurant advertises as an upscale establishment however, it’s not. The decor is dated and seems thrown together. They have signage for Dippin Dots in the front lobby, at an “upscale restaurant”. Go to The Porterhouse instead, where your money will be well spent!
Upon arrival we were promptly seated at 6:45, our reservation time. The bartender greeted us at our table and brought the water that each table receives. My husband ordered an old fashion and said it was good. We ordered an appetizer and our food at the same time. 20 minutes after we ordered, our appetizer arrived. We finish it and our plate is taken away. By this time it’s roughly 7:20 or 7:30. Keep in mind we ordered our appetizer and meal right at 7:00. At 7:50 our food arrives. My husband ordered the surf and turf, steak cooked medium. He cuts into his steak and it’s grey, well done. We notify the one and only server within minutes. The server requested a new steak be cooked, this was another 30 minutes. Therefore I was completely finished with my meal and my husband hadn’t even started eating yet. So to sum it all up, we were at the restaurant from start to finish 2 hours, my husband’s 2nd steak was still over cooked, my ahi tuna was okay, the sweet potatoes weren’t seasoned at all not even salted, and the chocolate cake was dry. After tip our check was $187 and not worth it whatsoever. To add they had ONE server working a dining room that could seat roughly 50 people or more. There was also a bartender she waited on us at our table, she was very sweet however not attentive.

Charming Brunch Spot in Town
Had brunch at Edens while visiting from OKC, and the space is absolutely gorgeous—bright, stylish, and perfect for a relaxed weekend vibe. The Bananas Foster waffles were to die for—easily the highlight of the meal. While the rest of the food was just okay, the drinks were fantastic and definitely elevated the experience. Overall, a lovely spot to enjoy brunch with great ambiance and a few standout bites.

Love the converted bath house updated with touches of modern elegance. We enjoyed our meal so much we returned the next afternoon for appetizers and wine. The staff is friendly, the steak cooked perfectly and the homemade pepper jelly better than any we’ve had in Louisiana. The owner was on site for both visits and made us feel like locals that had been there dozens of times. I would count this restaurant as one of the highlights of our visit and would definitely return next time in the area.
