Sometimes I tell my wife I’m going to Lowe’s but I really just want tacos. That’s how legit this place is. Saturday staple.

This is my go to place for my taco and burrito fix. Their Al Pastor is delicious! I also like their Carne Asada and Chicken. Their authentic Mexican street tacos are delicious. I usually get 5 or 6. The staff is very friendly and the food is consistently great! I am at La Unica Estrella about once a week.

I love the food here, it’s a cute food truck in the Lowe’s parking lot and they were willing to do any customization that I needed.

Food is okay, prices lil high, but the 3 stars is Why is so hard to ask for more Hot sauce? Like…for three orders( flautas, 3 tacos, one gordita, and torta) 4 hot sauces? And when we asked for more they were like upset about it…like c’mon it’s just hot sauces…and they forgot napkins and silverware….Hope they can change that.

Amazing food. This highly authentic Mexican cuisine is out of a food truck, usually located in the corner of the Waxhaw Lowes parking lot, and they never miss. I have eaten here several times, and each time tends to be close to a spiritual experience. Everything I have tried is very good, my favorite being the burrito. It has this beautiful tomato-based sauce over the top of it, and it is to die for. It does not get much better than this place.

I stop by here at least once a week the asada tacos and hamburger are my favorites and you can’t beat the prices, plenty of hot sauce in a squeeze bottle out front plus they include a Togo hot sauce with your order. Services is amazing and the food comes out super quick.

Just moved here from Az. Finally found good Mexican food. Red salsa was nice and spicy. Bean and cheese burrito is great!! Will definitely be back. Can’t wait to try my way through the menu!

Everything was bland down to the horchata. Pollo tacos with stewed chicken meat? Supposed to be seasoned charred grilled chicken meat. Asada had no flavor. Maybe my expectations are high coming from SoCal but I had high hopes for this local spot considering the reviews. Even the Mexican rice was dry and hard. How do you mess up on rice? Or maybe they were just using old rice. Will not be back.
