Every taco I tried was just packed with flavor and taste. The cabeza meat was so juicy. The chorizo was killer. The Quesabirria was dynamite. Al pastor.was better than I expected. I love that the tacos came out fast and hot and there is a table of condiments and salsas. You can doctor them up as you like. The fact that you can order them on a plate and eat right there means you can relax and enjoy and go order more if you want. I think Tacos el Pollo just wins a bit more in every category even though there are many other good taco trucks around, this is my favorite. Clear winner.

We JUST left this spot, it was our first time since we just moved down the street and were craving tacos but didn’t want to drive to Tacos Los Cuñados taco truck (our usual hang for tacos). Man, we should’ve just made the drive. We ordered two tacos to eat there (one saudero and one carnitas) plus torta, burrito, and two asada tacos to go.
As you can see, the tacos to eat there BOTH look the same. I asked them if they were sure they didn’t give us the same meat, and they morbidly said no, and pointed to which is which. We tried both, and it TASTED THE SAME BLAND FLAVOR AND TEXTURE. Can you tell which is which? We can’t. Plus tortilla size is more on the extra small size, not your normal small tortilla, so for 2.50/ea, we won’t be back unfortunately and will take an extra 15 minutes to exit Valley Blvd eastbound on the 605 S

Very very good. On the busier nights they cut the al pastor fresh off the trompo and it’s sooo good. Worth the wait. Usually there is parking available in the lot but sometimes it’s better to park on the street because getting out of the lot when it’s busy can be slow going.

This food truck is located in the parking lot of a car wash at the corner of Rosemead Blvd and Colorado Blvd. I purchased an asada Tortas long time ago, and it was super flavorful, so I decided to come back when I am craving for late night snack.
I came here late at night after attending a concert. I was very hungry and craving for mulitas, but they were out of tortillas for militias. I was a bit disappointed, so I ordered my second option: cabeza taco. I was excited when I got my plate as the cabeza looked very juicy! When I had my first bite, I was sad. The taste was so blend, as if it was tasteless. I tried adding some salsa, but I only tasted spiciness. The texture of the meat was very tender and juicy, just tasteless. If they can add more flavor to it, the tacos would be perfect!
Each taco is $2, and they were very generous with the meat. The quantity of the meat definitely worth the money you paid.
