Social Profile:

Maru adopts its name from a native Korean language, San Ma Ru, which means ‘mountaintop’. This is our symbol of quality as the finest coffee beans are grown and harvested from areas of high altitude. Born from a love of process and everyday quality, we are inspired by all things analog and the simplicity of good coffee. We believe that quality does not have to be austere and that tradition can be respected as well as re-imagined. Maru is made with intention, balance, and a love for the ritual of a well-made coffee.

Maru Espresso Coffee is my go-to most mornings on my early walk — it’s become part of my routine. The coffee is consistently smooth and perfectly balanced, and you can tell they really care about quality. It’s the kind of cup that genuinely starts your day right.

The vibe is warm and relaxed, and the team are always friendly and welcoming (even during the morning rush). When I’m grabbing a quick takeaway , it never disappoints.

Highly recommend if you’re looking for a reliable, quality coffee spot.

Real as it gets. Really good coffee. Got the cream top drink, sweet cream on top and long black underneath. I didn’t know what long black is so for those like me, it’s like an Americano except the espresso is poured on top of water (rather than the water into the espresso) which apparently makes it taste richer.

Idk about all that hoopla, but here’s what I can tell you, it tastes damn good.

With each sip you get the perfect mix of flavors. First you taste the rich, strong, and bitter (in the best way) coffee – which also has a tiny hint of orange which works wonderfully. Then, just as it’s about to become overpowering, you get the sweet cream on the back of the tongue, balancing it out. Each sip was a delight.

That said, by the time I was 70ish% done, I wasn’t enjoying it as much. I’m unsure why, but wanted to share my honest feedback. I really wanted to like it as much as I first did, but toward the end maybe the balance was off or something, or the underlying flavors didn’t work as well as I thought, but didn’t like it as much.

Still, I will return. Very good coffee.

Such a cute coffee spot, with a line out the door, and I can see why. We waited a good 10 min on a Saturday morning, but it was so worth it. I got the Iced Breve Macchiato, and hubby got the Cream Top and the Espresso. ALL were great coffees and really yummy. That cream thing they put on top is seriously unforgettable. I’ll come back for sure!

Often a line out the door but always worth it and usually moves quick. I’m obsessed with their vanilla bean flat white. The espresso is amazing and bold, but smooth. The vanilla bean tastes so natural. Worth the price tag!!!

My cappuccino was amazing! Great taste. I was recommended about this coffee shop. There was a line, but it moved very quickly.

First time at Maru and really enjoyed it. The coffee was smooth and their signature cream topping added a nice, subtle richness. Not much seating inside, but it’s a great option to go — there’s a nice seating area just around the corner in the Beverly Hills square. Friendly staff and quick service.

Maru in Beverly Hills is such a gem! The barista was super friendly and welcoming, which instantly made the place feel inviting. I grabbed a latte and it was absolutely delicious.

I really liked the minimalist vibe of the shop—clean, simple, and calm, which makes it a great little escape from the usual Beverly Hills buzz. It’s the perfect spot to swing by for a quality coffee and then head over to the park next door to relax. Definitely one of my new go-to spots in the area!

Five stars all around. Consistent and shots are always perfectly pulled. Love this specific location. Can get busy and lines definitely form but it’s worth it. I also love buying their beans for brewing at home

A small, hip cafe with a great vibe! I tried their signature cream top coffee, and really enjoyed it. I just wish the coffee itself was a bit stronger to balance the sweetness of the cream. There was a short lineup outside, but the weight wasn’t too long. I’d love to come back and try more of their coffee drinks! ☺️

Cute coffee shop and the cream top long black coffee is really good. Less stars for the lack of customer service. When we walked in, didn’t feel welcomed at all. The cashier felt she didn’t really care to help me and didn’t seem friendly at all. The whole vibe of this coffee shop seem like you have to be cool and entitled to be recognized with a smile.
The person after me in line got their pastry before me because she was a “regular” and we ordered the same pastry while I waited a few min for mine.
