I’m really starting to love, and seek out, New Haven style pizza. Di Ferro’s, to my knowledge, is the only place in the back mountain that offers it. We ordered takeout during the national phone outage/power loss and it was ready right on time. The tomatoey tang of their New Haven style sauce with a light, crisp and slightly charred crust (sorry, no pics of the undercarriage) makes it hard not to polish off a whole pie, personally…but don’t stop there.
Their New York style, slightly thinner than usual, was a hit with the kids and would be a party favorite anywhere. The Italian dinners they offer could feed two; we got chicken marsala and chicken parm, and they nailed both classics. Pasta wasn’t dry, the sharpness of the Marsala wine showed through in the sauce, and the hearty chicken portions had us seeing leftovers for days.
Both orders of chicken bites had creative and interesting sauces; the parm garlic were a little drier than expected, but in a good way; not greasy or saturated, and very flavorful with lots of garlic. The Thai bites had a little extra zing to them but the sauce was well balanced.

My wife and I visited for the first time this evening. I was so happy after being in PA since 1998 to have found a restaurant that cooks in the Italian style. The chicken Marsala was amazing having been prepared in a fantastic wine sauce. The potato and broccoli side dishes were incredible by themselves. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I spoke with the chef Brett, an amazing young man who was self caught and authentic Italian. This is now my favorite place to eat. If you haven’t been, then go. Tell Brett Jim sent you. Eat hardy!

Place was empty when we got there. Food took a while to come out. People came trickling in as the time passed. When the food finally came out it was decent, but nothing to write home about.

Entered thru dining room door. Stood there for 10 minutes waiting for hostess to seat us. She was too busy talking to another customer about their kids. She could have told us to sit anywhere and then resume her conversation. Found an empty table with a dirty cleaning rag on it. It was the cleanest choice at the time. Took another 10 minutes to get a drink and actually salad was delivered before drinks came. Food then came out in shifts so we didn’t eat together. Food fair. I’ve been seeing good reviews and that’s why we went but it was very disappointing. Waitresses seemed to be bothered with our business. Big let down.

I am in love with their food. We had their Pizza on Friday Uncle Zios delicious. Tonight, I ate their Chicken Marsala it was excellent. My Husband had their blush Vodka with penne and shrimp delicious. I would recommend them highly. They charge reasonable prices and you still get enough to eat

The Grandma’s Pizza I think it’s called, the one with pesto sauce, vodka sauce and regular pizza sauce. That might be some of the best pizza I’ve ever eaten in my entire life. It’s our new favorite place

I really like Di Ferro’s. The food is always great, the house-made sauces and dressings are delicious, and the portions are big for the price. The chicken parm with vodka sauce is a go to for me, also the meatballs ! It’s one of my favorite places to eat.

Great Italian homemade food! Chicken Marsala sauce was excellent along with the chicken, potatoes and broccoli. Lasagna and pizza were also very tasty.

If you havent tried them yet, try them today! So damn good! Stromboli was phenomenal and so was the meat lovers pizza. The cheese blend that Di Ferro’s uses is delicious. This was love at first bite for me. We all know that people have different ideas of what is the best pizza. Regardless of that, try Di Ferro’s! You might just have a new favorite pizza place in the back mountain!

Amazing food and service, first time here but definitely not the last. Met the chef and he was very friendly and polite. This guy can cook. Check it out and I’ll guarantee you will be impressed with the quality and portions.
