Pizza toppings were scarce and definitely cooked on a conveyor belt. Not our favorite by far. The Mama Mia special was dry; assuredly needed more sauce. The Greek salad was fine.
Overall, okay but we would try elsewhere in the future.

In case you’re looking for a different place for a quick lunch, I just picked up a toasted turkey sub from Italian Express on Irvine Blvd (between Newport and Holt) with a very good salad bar and soft drink – all for $11.50 plus tax.
Italian Express is one of my favorite local Italian pizza restaurants. Great local owners and friendly staff. Good seating area, easy parking, quick service.

It was nice to find a place to refuel the kids after a long sports practice. A bowl of spaghetti and meatballs was a good alternative to burgers and burritos. Our pick up order was ready on time. Friendly staff. Simple.
