We were told it was busy and it would be about a 20-30 minute wait time, and that we could take a seat; we were fine with that.
Waited about an hour for the food after seating. I had two delicious local prickly pear margaritas in that time. My fiance had one mocktail version of that drink.
The food arrived and I had a delicious ramen bowl while my fiance enjoyed an amazing shrimp scampi.
Afterwards, we shared some Tiramisu with a banana cream that was made the day before.
Delectable.
It was a full house, with as far as we know, only two staff members. They were very kind and personable, they seemed to be working thoroughly.
It was a good experience overall. I appreciate visible effort from a comfortable environment. Great Job! Keep it up.
It came out to 85 dollars and some change for the 2 main dishes, 1 desert, and 3 drinks
Things to note:
I went to the restroom and they didn’t have toilet paper, only paper towels. I went back in and they stocked it back up. I felt uncomfortable letting them know right away as they seemed very busy, i didn’t want to be the nagging customer. They must have went in there and checked on their own. Good job team. Additionally, the lock for the restroom door is broken.
This place is NOT fast food! You will be waiting patiently for good quality food. It may be long wait times.
If you’re REALLY hungry you can order multiple dishes and take some to go.
So good.
Hubz and I got the specials: shrimp scampi and power bowl.
I haven’t had a meal like this in a very long time.
It was very well crafted and thought out.
The mushrooms were “chicharroned” and fresh; chicken grilled just enough but not overcooked; greens well curated but not soggy or overbearing.
The shrimp scampi noodles were Al Dente; that is how it SHOULD be. The shrimp was juicy and fresh.
All in all, if you’re looking to stuff your face — don’t come here.
If you’re looking for a culinary cure and quality food — come here and come back numerous times after that.
The chef knows what he’s doing.
He is very skilled at his craft.
If your palate is wanting for something real, come here; you won’t be sorry.
Pesto, to die for. I could have eaten that by itself. So delicious.
Birria was so good, some of the best ive had in Arizona.
Lemon bar was fantastic, perfect balance between sweet and tart.
Highly recommend, the owner was so easy to talk to and you can tell he really takes pride in the food he creates.
The drinks were so good too!
We’ll definitely make a point of coming back the next time we’re passing through. We might even make a special trip just for the cheesecake chimichanga—it was fire!
We will definitely be back and highly recommend!
