We had an amazing time at Jing Yan and everything was delicious! The drinks were all outstanding. My favorite dish was the miso salmon, but our table loved the thai ginger and Korean Gochujang wings as well.

This was maybe the best restaurant I’ve ever been to. I’ve never written a food review before, but I felt the need because I was so impressed by Jing Yan. The ambiance was lovely, the drinks were tasty, and the food was unbelievable. My date and I were impressed by every single dish we ordered. The Lost in Thailand was our favorite drink, and the Poke bowl was our favorite dish, but everything was flavorful and delicious. I so highly recommend Jing Yan for drinks and food. We will be going back!

The best part about this place were the drinks. We ended up leaving after the disappointing smashed cucumber and Chinese numbing wings. The cucumber was so bland and the wings were so dry that we were scared to spend money on the entrees and have them be bad too… I would maybe give this another try some other day.

The food is fabulous. The staff are delightful. The atmosphere is cozy and chic. If you like sophisticated wings, then order all 3 flavors, as we did. The cocktails are amazing too. We will definitely be back soon.

This place is great. Ordered Szechuan chicken shareable to start. Just about perfect. Flavorful and a light spice. 2 of us thought the spice level was perfect, and 2 felt it could be kicked up 1 more notch. All were in agreement. It was delicious. My meal was the fried chicken ramen. Even with all the different ingredients, I swear, you could taste every individual flavor. Divine. The other 3 folks felt the same about their meals.

Jing Yan was delicious! Everything was fresh and very well crafted. You can tell the chef takes pride in their work. The food was delicious and authentic. I would certainly come back! The poke bowl was so fresh and flavorful, with the perfect combination of, sweet, spicy and salty! The beef ramen was perfectly salty and savory all in one. Logistically, there is no parking. We didn’t have a wait at the time, but there are not a ton of seats inside and out, so I would assume there would be a wait during peak hours!

We really liked our experience here. The drinks were absolutely top notch. The appetizers were really good and we felt split on our entrees. My wife got the sweet and sour shrimp and it was 5/5. I had the fried chicken ramen and it was 3/5 at best. My biggest complaint was that the chicken lacked seasoning- literally zero salt. The ramen broth was 4/5. We would go back.

I wanted to love it but not quite there. The lychee cosmo was good. For food I ordered the fried chicken ramen. Broth was lukewarm and fried chicken pieces were crispy but not well seasoned. Overall it was fine but not sure if I will come back. Cool ambience, would be a nice place for a date.

We had an amazing time here. We loved the seaweed burrata and the miso salmon, and our drinks were excellent. The ube ice cream was a lovely treat to finish off the night. Absolutely love what they did with the decor and lighting in here too!

Cozy, comfortable, friendly neighborhood restaurant. If I lived in Munjoy area, would be my go-to. Food was great – Ramen with Fried Chicken, thai Chicken wings, Shishitos w/aioli, good selection of cocktails and sake. Smallish restaurant, great atmosphere.
