Make sure you arrive hungry. Portion sizes are extremely generous.
There are a few dishes on the menu which move away from the traditional British “Indian” restaurant staples so make sure you ask for recommendations or suggestions and maybe try something different.
The menu is extensive, with lots of the usual traditional favourites, and an array of imaginative signature dishes and house specials
We plumped for
starter – chicken chaat
starter – spicy meat samosas
main – Amritti chicken
main – Chicken Tikka Shobuz
side dishes – saag panir, chana paneer and basmati rice
All the dishes were really tasty with a real depth of flavour and well-balanced spices. And they were generous portions – lots of people around us were taking away their leftovers to enjoy later
It’s been awhile since I’ve enjoyed an Indian meal as good as this one!
The service was quick and friendly – and we especially enjoyed our chat with our waiter Hamid
It was busy when we visited so it’s worth booking a table! It’s a good place for meeting up with friends or family, or getting together with colleagues after work.
Waiter said hope to see you again , you bet you will !!!
Thanks again to all the staff

The menu was really good.
Starters i had the tandori prawns, they were really big and was lovely.
After that the waiter brought over another table he said just thought inwould give you some more elbow room. So attentive. I then had the lamb shank and partner had curry we both enjoyed our meals very much. The lamb shank was just perfect it just fell off the bone was the best i have ever tasted and i really mean that. The sauce was just lovely. The atmoshere was really nice we had a really lovely evening. When we finished we were given chocolates and also offered a drink.
The waiters were so lovely.
Will definatley go back someday soon.
We didnt know this resturant was there as it is right out the way, but actually thats what makes it even nicer.
Loved it.
Well we have been looking at this place for a few weeks now and finally got there, booked a table for 8:15 to avoid disappointment, lahin and the team were very friendly and polite.
The food was excellent, loads of poppadoms maybe too many if that’s possible. The mains were beautiful and the portions were very generous. We even had enough left for a substantial doggy bag, which is apparently the norm. Really enjoyed it and will definitely be back.
A must if visiting Port Solent.
The staff are fantastic and attentive.
The food is so delicious and tasty, what you’d exactly expect from Indian cuisine. We had the mixed grill, tika masala, pilau rice and sag aloo (so yummy!!)
The restaurant itself is cute with a little van inside and decorated, the bathroom could maybe do with an updo as a bit shabby but everywhere else is lovely.
Would come again, allow for take home boxes too so you can enjoy the day after!
Great place, see you again in the future!
