We were invited to choose a table, offered menus to peruse while we selected a wine based on several tastings offered.
Tapas? Yes! Delicious? AMAZING!
Oh my gosh – the owner stopped by to chat -Deanna is lovely. She ushered over her husband, Brady…Also our new friend along with Carla, the server who expertly attended our table.
Recommendations for wine, for appetizers, our main entrees we had already selected. So reasonably priced it kinda blew my mind a bit. Followed this with scratch made cheesecakes that were to die for… the vanilla scented candles, exposed brick walls and beams, leaded windows, crystal chandeliers and piano awaiting the live music on Fridays and Saturdays.
Don’t miss out. This place is a must! Extraordinary! 10 stars on a scale of five
Nice wine list and menu. We only stopped in for a quick bite just after they opened. The stuffed mushrooms are definitely worth a try! Went great with a Pinot Noir. Reasonable prices and friendly staff. We will definitely be back!

Let me first say that the staff is wonderful and attentive. A friend and I were at another restaurant and rang ahead to see if there was dine in service. We immediately tabbed out and rushed over to the bistro. This is the second time I’ve been to the Bistro. The first was bloody amazing too. Tapas were wonderful (bacon wrapped dates, bacon brussels, and satay) and the drinks washed away a summer of sorrow.
The drinks are bloody amazing. Kaylie and Carla are magicians behind the pub. I’m generally not one for Old fashions, save for a few spots in Vegas, but this place makes an amazing OF. Their mules and random other drinks had us wanting more.
Supper= effin (said in a more Gordon Ramsay style) delicious!
I rarely order a pork chop from anywhere. The chefs seem to think that the hog needs to die a second death of dehydration. This is not the case for BSB, the pork chop was perfectly done. Juicy, salty, sweet, tender and they adapted it for my troublesome celiac* arse. Carrots and taters came on a separate plate and I gobbled them up too. Thank you Candace for impressing me.
My friend gets Julia’s Boeuf Bourguignon. The portion is amazing , the scent, flavour, and presentation très fantastique. Not a GF item btw, but I’ve so wanted to dive into that plate each time I’ve seen it.
Dessert=Do you think I had bloody room after that chop and a belly full of artisan drinks? Nope
Overall I’m right impressed and will definitely return.
Cheers The sausage guy.

They close at 9pm which seems a bit early to us but they didn’t hurry us either
We went early and the restaurant was not even half full so slo service was a bit off putting.
This restaurant = $$$$$
I feel this restaurant would be the best in class except for the price is astronomically expensive two steaks will run you 82 dollars and then two glasses of wine and an appetizer will bring the price up to 100+. We only ate two appetizers and that ran us $30. I feel like they could reduce the price and earn more money. I hope this gives you insight into the price.
I’ve wanted to go here for a long time and now I know why it’s usually empty. I think this is their loss leader and their actual business is the apartments above.
